  Had a great time with our family with 2 kids 9 and 11. We had an air conditioned SUV drive us the whole way. Demetrius, our driver, was amazing and gave us great history, culture, and Greek language lessons. The beach was beautiful with comfortable chairs with umbrellas and the place had changing rooms. The restaurant food was good and we had a large spread to try different Greek foods.

  Amazing trip! First we went to see Balos from above, breathtaking view and we took wonderful pictures! On our way there, we saw a lot of cute goats and we could feed them a little bit of banana peel! Then we went to Falassarna beach to swim. The most beautiful turquoise clear water ever! Mesmerizing beach! After 3 hours, we had lunch at a beach restaurant and ate delicious traditional Greek food like lamb, moussaka and greek salad. Our guide Yannis was so friendly and kind, he gave us a lot of interesting information about Crete’s history and many other fun things like greek names and traditions! Never a dull moment in the car! Overall we loved this experience and 100% recommend to everyone!

  Was a great experience! Bill/Vassili was an excellent guide and so knowledgeable. It was a fun filled day doing adventurous things. Balos beach was stunning and Falassarna beach was beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed a nice meal as well! Would highly recommend!

  This experience surpassed our expectations! The day was meticulously planned from start to finish, and the hospitality of Nasos was outstanding! The view from Balos and the clear blue water at Falassarna Beach are so beautiful! There are not enough pictures to show the beauty of the scenery. The lunch provided was delicious! Authentic and an abundant variety! Funny story, we actually booked a tour with Chania Adventures last year to Elafossoni Beach and Milia Mountain. They definitely know how to do it right!   Breathtaking views, very informative guide and a delicious lunch. Balos had been on my bucket list for a very long time and I was ever so grateful somebody else was driving me there in a 4WD. Yiannis even had snacks for the goats! I highly recommend this tour.

  Demetrius was fantastic! It was a beautiful day at the beach and the perfect way to enjoy Balos. Avoided all the crowds. Food was amazing!

  Very enjoyable experience with our knowledgeable and helpful guide, Yannis, and two other tourists - it is an intimate experience, so it's helpful if the other tourists are nice people, as ours were! I was disappointed the beach beds were not in the front row - it's misleading somewhat as it says first row "with umbrellas", but this is behind a load of big beach beds, and we felt very claustrophobic.

  Our day was incredible! Yoannis was a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. All of the stops were beautiful and we learned a lot about the Greek culture along the way! Highly recommend!

• A beautiful and comfortable tour of Balos and Falassarna

  Our tour guide Nikolas.was great! He took us out to the mountains above balos beach, and helped us to feed the goats. So so cool! He taught us a lot of history about Crete as well, and had ice cold waters and snacks ready the whole way. We wrapped up with a few hours enjoying Falassarna beach, and having a beachside lunch as well. The restaurant made incredible food, we couldn't help but eat it all! 5 stars across the board!

  So our guide, Yaniss was fantastic. Our tour was good. Sadly the weather did not cooperate, which was no fault of our guide or the tour. Where I rated this lower is the high cost & our itinerary indicated we'd go to Kissamos for 3 hours, then Balos Lagoon for 30 min & finally Falassarna Beach with lunch & reserved sunbeds for 4 hours. We had a great view of Balos Lagoon & our lunch & sunbeds at Falassarna Beach were fantastic but we drove past Kissamos beach, not go there for 3 hours. Even if we did, we'd probably cut it short due to high winds & it was just cold, as we did in Falassarna Beach. Our guide did try & stretch out the tour by taking us to a cave Monastery in the area as we only lasted an hour at Falassarna Beach before asking for lunch early because we were too cold. In all, with perfect weather I still found this high cost for the tour but what we did experience was good.
