5.00This is a great tour and Maxine is a superlative guide. Bloomsbury is both lovely and historic. All flat tour (except for a few steps), so it's easy to negotiate. Maxine is not only knowledgeable but also a great story teller. You cannot appreciate the history of Bloomsbury without doing this tour. Highly recommended!

5.00I used to love navigating new places on my own, but that was the naivete and arrogance of youth! I am so grateful to myself for beginning my stay in the neighborhood with Maxine's walking tour—being introduced to Bloomsbury by a local enabled me to discover so many quaint bookshops, cafés, and scenic points of interest I never would have found on my own with just a few days to explore . . . and I was able to ask questions, benefitting from Maxine's vast knowledge and experience. Do yourself a favor and indulge in this tour!
