  Despite the heavy rain, Said gave us a fantastic and engaging tour of Bordeaux. His knowledge of the city’s history truly brought the town center and its beautiful streets to life. We learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend!

  An excellent tour of Bordeaux, with a very good mix of history, stories, modern aspects and tasty cenele. The pacing was good and Saïd's recommendations for a cafe and (of course) a good wine shop turned out to be very good too. The logistics of meeting up with Saïd were also well managed and straightforward. Happily recommended.

  Great day spent learning the history of Bordeaux; trying a few local sweet specialties! Said is extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. Put your walking shoes on as you cover a decent amount of ground!

  Saïd gave us a well organised and insightful tour of this beautiful city. He was not only able to explain the history and answer our questions but was also to help us understand some of the contemporary issues. A wonderful two hours well-spent. Thank you Saïd!

• Great historical overview of Bordeaux

  My wife and I were the only guests on this tour. Said let us set the pace. He is very well versed in the history of Bordeaux and the key sites he chose for us to visit provided great backdrops for his broader history commentaries. Said is generous and personable. He was willing to go off script and answer our broader questions about France and life in Bordeaux. His English is perfect. We recommend this tour and should we return we would like to experience the other tours he offers.

  Said was by far the best person for.this tour. His passion for the city shows in everything he says. It was just the 3 of us and it was so perfect. We had about 3hrs of walking including ice cream and other goodies. He was just too kind
