  Bring sunglasses, cameras, sunscreen and water bottles! Definitely recommend this tour! Not just looking at rock formations but gaining a lot of knowledge of the area!

  Our guide, Marcia, was outstanding. She was exceptionally knowledgeable about the geology of Canyonlands and provided clear, informative commentary throughout the tour. What I particularly appreciated was that the narration remained focused on the landscape, geology, history, and natural features of the park. The route itself was spectacular. Climbing the Shafer Trail provided unforgettable views and a unique perspective on Canyonlands that cannot be appreciated from the overlooks alone. The scenery was breathtaking, and Marcia's explanations of the geologic processes that created the landscape added a level of understanding that made the experience even more rewarding. The pace was excellent, there were plenty of opportunities for photographs, and the entire tour was professionally conducted from start to finish. I have taken many guided tours over the years, and this ranks among the very best. If you have the opportunity to take this tour, I highly recommend it. Marcia's knowledge, professionalism, and enthusiasm for the geology of the region made an already outstanding tour even better.

  My wife and I did the Canyonlands tour with Marsha as our guide. She was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and gave us information and stories about the city of Moab, the formation of the rock structures and surrounding vegetation and wildlife. It was not only some great sites to take in but the valuable information she shared. Well worth it!! Terry P

  Andrew was our driver & guide. We had a great tour on 5/20/26. Highly recommend booking a tour. Andrew was Knowledgeable and a Great driver… even though there were moments I couldn’t have leaned more toward him than I did lol. Since I was in the front (husband behind me) & I’ve never met a stranger we had some great conversations and he answered any questions I had easily. He even explained all about how the vehicles are modified for the steep terrain & other areas. (Wish I knew more about all that .. sorry, but I know enough from one of my sons .. thank goodness.. I was able to somewhat understand). lol Took Potash road and saw petroglyphs along Potash road. The pretty blue ponds by the salt mine area.. called the Potash Evaporation Ponds. Then headed to White Rim, Island in the sky, Shafer Trail & the switchbacks were a bit scary, but the views were spectacular!! So glad we were not driving. Muscleman Arch & its history. A full 4 hours of some amazing roads, stunning views & at times the fear of height kicked in. A few stops along the way to see view points, movie location areas & bathroom stops. Top range of the mountains are 320 million years old. The Douglas Fir grove of trees up on cliff in one area are from the same seedlings from 10,000 years ago. Located on the Shafer Trail in the Island in the Sky district. Thanks to the cliff's cooler shaded areas and natural springs behind them have kept this cluster going for 10,000 years. Seedlings sprout up from seeds & keeps new life continuously growing. After Shafer trail we drove through Long Canyon which was a whole different look.   This tour gave us a perspective of Canyonlands we wouldn’t have otherwise gotten. Courtney is full of personality and is so knowledgeable. We enjoyed her tour and would do it again.
