  The visit to Castle De Haar was a great experience. We were guided around the interior of the castle and then we were given free time to explore on our own and get lunch if we wished to. It was a perfect amount of time.

  The tour was excellent. The guide friendly and knowledgeable and willing to answer questions both specific about the castle but life in the Netherlands as well. It was a small group so you didn’t need to strain to hear the guide and you didn’t feel rushed to see everything. It was worth the money to see the beautiful castle and learn the history.

  The directions for pick up were very clear. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. She was also a good driver. The castle was beautiful and we learned a lot!

  Visiting Castle de Haar felt like stepping directly into a storybook. It is easily one of the most stunning castles I’ve seen, and the entire experience was well-organized from start to finish. The interior is breathtaking, but what really made the visit was our guide. They were incredibly knowledgeable, sharing deep historical insights that brought the rooms to life. The gardens are immaculately maintained and great for a long stroll. We especially enjoyed the maze—it was a fun, playful challenge that added a bit of adventure to the day. Overall, the transportation provided was very comfortable and made the trip out to the castle seamless. The only downside was the audio during transit. We were seated in the very last row of chairs, and unfortunately, the guide's speech was frequently drowned out by the surrounding traffic noise. If you're heading out on a tour, I’d recommend trying to grab a seat closer to the front to ensure you don’t miss any of the interesting stories shared along the way! Absolutely worth the visit for the history and the views, just keep an eye on your seating for the ride!

  This is a fun trip. Our guide was informative and gave us a great tour of the castle itself, but was also mindful of making sure we had enough time to explore the grounds and gardens on our own.

  Castle De Haar didn’t disappoint. Pretty interesting to see and learn about. Beautiful place. Both the castle and the gardens. Our tour guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable. There is a gift shop and a nice restaurant onsite. Coffee Shop as well.

  Eva is a wonderful guide. She was knowledgeable, fun and witty. She knew not just about the castle but about the history and culture of the area. She was a pro. We have been traveling Europe for more than a decade and Eva was one of the best guides we have ever had.
