  This was a great excursion. From chocolate tasting to wine and cheese tasting..all good. Enjoyed hearing the local historical stories too. We were just 4 people so that was awesome.

  We had an excellent time with our guide. She was very informative and took us to the castle and inside a beautiful church. The wine cellar was the highlight of the tour and paired nicely with three different kinds of cheeses

  I feel that we didn’t get our moneys worth and would t recommend this experience. We walked a lot. We visited a chocolate store in the train station, walked to the white castle on the hill and then back to a pub for the wine and cheese pairing. The pairing was the only part that we couldn’t have necessarily done on our own. There wasn't any great information on the area during the walking tour. I felt let down. The saving grace was the other family that was on the tour was awesome. But there’s no way we should have paid the amount of money for a non-private tour

  Luis gave us a fabulous tour of many of Lucerne’s highlights combined with delicious chocolate, cheese and wine tastings. He was extremely friendly and knowledgable and shared some excellent recommendations and fun facts as only a local could. We enjoyed our time with Luis greatly and highly recommend taking a tour with him. Our packages also included tickets for a boat tour of Lake Lucerne, which was also very nice. Thank you, Luis!

  We had a great time on this tour! The chocolate, cheese and wine were all delicious, and our guide, Florence, was very knowledgeable and passionate about Lucerne--we learned a lot. This was a great way to spend the limited time we had in the city.

  Description of the tour was a little vague. “ chateau “ was just a hotel on top of the hill with a nice view. We looked at chapel bridge and got some history but then didn’t cross it. Chocolate part was nice but really just a commercial for the manufacturer. Luis was very friendly and engaging. Pretty pricey for what it was but seems everything in Lucerne is.

  Wonderful experience!! Really enjoyed that we could set our own pace with the kids and even beyond the tour was how wonderful it was to hear about various different things we’d seen around town. Highly recommend! The cheese in a centuries old private wine cellar was very special! Also big thanks for helping us find/book a magical dinner!!

  We had about four stops throughout the town some included food (chocolate, cheese and wine) our guide shared some of the history and culture of Lucerne
