  Kong La gave us one of the most unforgettable days of our entire Thailand trip. From the moment he picked us up, everything felt thoughtful, unhurried, and deeply personal. He took us up into the hills to visit the Long Neck Karen village in a way that felt respectful and authentic - not rushed, not performative, but genuinely educational and human. We learned so much, and it never felt like a “tour stop,” but a meaningful experience. From there, we wound through the mountains to the tea plantation, where the views were absolutely breathtaking. Kong La knew exactly where to go, when to go, and gave us the space to take it all in while sharing the history and culture behind what we were seeing. It felt like traveling with a local friend who loves his home and wants you to love it too. And then ASA Farmstay… the highlight of highlights. Arriving there felt like stepping into another world. Kong La didn’t just drop us off - he helped bridge the experience so we understood what made this place so special. Learning about cultivation, harvesting ingredients, and cooking traditional Thai food from scratch with the family was something we will talk about for the rest of our lives.

  I did a day trip and ended up the only one, so I had a private tour! The sights were beautiful and she answered all of my questions and more. I appreciated her insight and context. She was flexible and asked me what I wanted to do, but we still saw everything on the itinerary. I can’t recommend her enough!

  Every temple was beautiful in its own way the craftsmanship of both the architecture paintings and carvings were magnificent. We enjoyed the whole day thanks to our guide Yukki and driver Mr Bank

  Suzie was a fabulous tour guide for our Chaing Mai temples tour. She was prompt, knowledgeable, kind and friendly. We had a very pleasant day seeing the temples.

  Definitly Recommend 4.5/5. Kongla did a great job taking us through Northern Thailand. The history of the Hill People, Tea Plantation, and Opium Museum are very informative.

  Kongla was a great guide. He was very informative and was able to answer all of our questions concerning Thailand history and culture. The tour of the hill tribes was interesting but at the same time, it was a little disturbing as mentioned in the other reviews. The House of Opium was super cool. Even though it was small, it provided a lot of good information. It was also neat to see three countries at once at the Golden Triangle. I would definitely recommend this tour if you have extra time in Chiang Rai.
