  Chris is a great guy, you don't feel like this was a structured tour that you'd buy off the rack, it was bespoke and tailored to us. We were able to see and do things that we would have never been able to do without him, like visit a small local cheese factory right by a hillside, and visit a co-op vineyard where you can only get their wine in local restaurants. The tour was also full of site visits around various viewpoints, landmarks, and interesting stops that you wouldn't think about. On top of that, the day was full of conversations about life, fun, business, family, etc. You won't be disappointed on this one.

We had the absolute pleasure of spending a day with Chris from Typically Swiss Tours to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary — and it was, without question, the highlight of our time in Switzerland! From the very beginning, Chris went above and beyond to ensure our day would be memorable. He proactively reached out well before our trip to get a true understanding of what we were interested in — namely chocolate, cheese, and wine — and he thoughtfully crafted a completely customized itinerary around those passions.   Chris was amazing. He spent 2 days with our group and really took the time to make sure it met everyone’s needs and personalized the trip to what e wanted to see. There was no way we could have gotten through the amount of stops if we didn’t have someone who knew the area well. We were really able to see so much more than we could have one our own. He also had great stories along the way to I make it interesting! You can’t go wrong by hiring Chris!

  Chris was an amazing tour guide. We had less than optimal weather but Chris set up a fantastic day with really interesting activities. Everyone really enjoyed the entire day. Highly recommend spending the day with Chris. He will work hard to make sure the day is tailored to your interests. 5 Stars!!

  Chris is AMAZING!! He is incredible. His knowledge, expertise, etc. Is beyond wonderful. We also has lunch by the lake, and went to the top of the mountain for amazing views. We highly recommend him. I would spend at least 2 days in Lucerne.

  Chris catered this to us and gave us an amazing experience far better than the one I signed up for. We ended up spending a full day and went up a mountain for some amazing views, went to a chocolate factory to make chocolate bars, made our own Swiss Army knives, and toured Lucerne. We had a great time and are so happy we booked with Chris!

  A tour is only as good as the guide and because of Chris, we had an amazing two days in Switzerland. Besides rainy winter weather, the near perfect tours were customized by Chris who knows the area better than anyone. He took extra efforts to make sure we got what we wanted out of our days and was conscientious, caring, assuring, and fun to be around. You won't go wrong with Chris!

  This was our first trip to Switzerland and it was just wonderful… not just because the country is stunning, but also because we had a wonderful tour guide with us for two days. Chris, a charming and passionate professional, was just amazing, from initial contact till the very last minute of our trip. The excellent knowledge and his sense of humour, combined with the perfect selection of tour sites, our trip was very well organised and ran smoothly. The itinerary was very well thought out. We visited various places like Lindt Chocolate Factory, Hoher Kasten Mountain, Appenzell and the cheese factory, Luzern and finally the Aeschbach Chocolatier. Combining leisure time with not-to-be-missed activities, one can see that his clients are obviously at the heart of the itinerary planning. Chris’s attention to detail was superb and he definitely kept our comfort and interests in mind. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting a holiday of a lifetime.
