  We had an absolutely amazing kayaking adventure with Clear Wave! Paddling through the beautiful mangroves in the Turks and Caicos Islands was peaceful, scenic, and unforgettable. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience fun while sharing interesting facts about the local ecosystem. Everything was well organized, and we always felt safe and well taken care of. If you’re visiting TCI and looking for a unique way to experience nature, I highly recommend Clear Wave.   We did this same tour last year though Clear Wave. We met at Blue Haven Marina. We were all connected to the guide who towed us with his little boat across the channel. Well, this time, I was expecting the same thing. We got there, it was the way windier than last year and they are no longer at the Marina. They said they could not use it anymore. They made us row across the channel. It was scary and I will never do it again. We made it and survived but it was extremely unnerving. Especially with the wind and big boats coming at us. Other tours were towing their guests. The girl told us that we were towed last year because we were further away... I did not see anyone else having to row across the channel. Thank goodness we are all strong and managed but it was not as expected and I already paid too much money to cancel. Next time, I will ask more questions. It is unfortunate because last year was perfect.

  Really great tour! It's in a small group, which we prefer over being with 20 people. We were with 6! We got to see jelly fish, conch and turtles. Romeo and Dominic were fun guides who made our 4 year old feel very welcome. If needed, the guides can tie you to their kayaks to cross the channel so don't worry about them not towing the whole group behind a jetski like other tours, you won't need it! We would definitely recommend them!

  Amazing experience! Dominic & Romeo were the best! Was one of the coolest experiences ever! Seeing turtles, birds, live conch and more as well as learning all about the mangrove and the ecosystem it provides for. It is a living system that needs to be cared and nurtured for.   Operator nice friendly and good. Boats were fine, but not as “clear” as the names suggested. We saw lots of interesting marine life!

  We had a good time. And I also don’t usually write bad reviews. But just be aware that there isn’t a lot of wildlife to see. I understand on each day things are diff. But in general in Turks there isn’t a lot of fish. We saw one snapper, 2 turtles, a conch and 1 jellyfish. We loved kayaking thru the mangroves. But it also becomes very busy with other kayakers hitting into eachother. It doesn’t seem like the guides talk to eachother bc one group saw sharks and our guide didnt bring us there. They also were mumbling the whole time we could barely hear them. And I don’t have hearing problems lol. They didn’t introduce themselves either or say hello, I had no idea his name and he wasn’t very positive or energetic. Told us some facts, but couldn’t answer a few questions we had. We saw some iguanas on the island and then did the tour. It’s a lot of kayaking and the tour was actually almost 3 hrs. In general it was pretty and I’m glad we did it. The kayaks were clear. But I think it needs some improvement in my opinion!

  We had a great time exploring very laid back and not too much paddling or too little! Romeo was very knowledgeable about the area and we seen so many turtles jellyfish and even a few baby sharks! We had a great time and will be back!
