  My family did a private 9 day/8 night tour with Desert Trips during my kids’ spring break (ages 13 and 16). From the beginning of planning, Med was responsive and flexible. Saiid, our driver and guide for the entire trip was AMAZING. He was friendly, flexible and answered all of the many, many questions we asked. And we did ask a lot. :-)We felt he went above and beyond to ensure we not only enjoyed our holiday, but more importantly learned about Moroccan history, cuisine and specialities. We also had a local tour guide and most stops. Each was also wonderful. One of our favorite stops of our whole trip was Fes. Our guide, Rasheed, was fantastic. Fes itself is also an incredible city. The lodging selections throughout the trip were very nice. We especially enjoys experiencing the riads. Since returning home, I have shared the website for DesertTrips to several friends and colleagues. Visit Morocco and visit with DesertTrips. You won’t regret it.

  Our trip to MOROCCO planned through Deserttrips was absolutely FANTASTICA!!! Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, from the smooth private transfers to the knowledgeable tour guides and unique cultural experiences. The itinerary struck the perfect balance between organized tours and free time to explore. We especially loved the food tour and the visits to the Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech. The accommodations were beautiful, with unique historic architecture and elegant rooms, which made our stay feel special. The location is perfect, right in the historic center and within walking distance of so many sights, markets, and restaurants. The staff was warm and attentive, and breakfast each morning was great. It was a relaxing, stylish place to return to after a day of exploring the city. Also, communication with our driver was seamless throughout the journey, and he was especially helpful. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking to go to Morocco. GRAZIE MILLE for all of your help in making our trip so special!

  We had a wonderful tour of Rabat in a very comfortable vehicle and a charming, knowledgeable driver and guide Mostapha. He was perfect and excellent, he helped us understand the Moroccan culture and sites. He showed us many highlights of Rabat, leaving us with a positive impression of the city and the country as a whole. All in all, this was a great experience not to be missed, and we truly wished we could have stayed longer.

  We had an incredible 10-day road trip across Morocco, visiting Casablanca, Rabat, Chefchaouen, Fez, the Sahara (Merzouga), Todra gorge, Dades Valley and Marrakech, all perfectly arranged by Deserttrips. Our driver and guide Addi was truly the heart of this experience. From the very beginning, he made us feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and patient, always happy to explain local history, culture, and traditions along the way. His driving was excellent, and long journeys were always smooth and enjoyable. What made him stand out even more was his genuine kindness and hospitality. He went above and beyond his role by welcoming us into his home, where we met his family — a deeply touching and unforgettable experience that allowed us to connect with Berber life on a personal level. He also took us to beautiful places off the usual tourist routes, making the journey feel authentic and special. Deserttrips organized everything seamlessly, from the itinerary to the charming, cosy, and comfortable riads we stayed in throughout the trip. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the journey.   Our journey through Morocco was wonderful, and we’ve returned with fond memories. Overall, the service from Deserttrips was excellent and here is what all really impressed us - Itinerary Design: The pace was well-conceived. Despite our initial hesitation regarding the frequent city changes, the flow was seamless and allowed us to experience the very best of the country. Expert Guides: The local guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Our gratitude to them for their exceptional service. Transport: The Toyota and Ford vehicles provided were both spacious and comfortable. Sightseeing & Dining: The attractions suggested by the driver, Mohamed, and the local guides were spot on. We also enjoyed the culinary recommendations, the food throughout Morocco was a highlight. Communication: Having prompt access to the company owners via WhatsApp made the trip feel very secure and well-managed. Our Driver: Mohamed was outstanding. He is an asset to this company's team - attentive, professional, and highly capable. He navigated language barriers for us and consistently ensured our comfort and safety.   I've just completed an extraordinary 14-day trip through Morocco. This was a truly unforgettable trip. As a solo female traveller, I was very pleased with the custom itinerary planned for me by Med. He put together a good balance of the big, can’t miss sites and activities that were a little more off the beaten track. All of my requests were fulfilled, from city tour with local guides, clean hotels and riads to camel riding for sunset in the Sahara desert, hikes, hot air balloon, and cooking class in beautiful Marrakech... Over the course of my trip, Said, my driver and guide. He was so knowledgeable and smiling. Getting to know the locals is always a highlight of travel, and Said really delivered for me! He introduced me to friends, took me to his favorite local spots, and so many hidden gems, breaking up the driving time with conversation and humor. He showed me the epitome of Moroccan hospitality, and it really felt like I left with a new friend. I heartily recommend this company as a reliable source for trip planning in Morocco!

  DesertTrips is THE way to do a tour of Morocco! After initially exploring Marrakech on our own, we embarked on an 8-day tour with DesertTrips that took us from Marrakech to Dades, Erg Chebbi/Sahara Desert, Merzouga, Fes (2 nights), Chefchaouen and Rabat. DesertTrips’ deep knowledge of Morocco was evident throughout, and their thoughtfully planned itinerary unfolded seamlessly. They incorporated all of our input, offering a suggested route that we were able to adjust and refine during the planning process. Once the tour began, we quickly realized that tackling Morocco on our own—as we have done in most of our travels—would have been overwhelming. Many of the country’s most spectacular highlights require long hours on the road, and having a professional driver made the journey relaxing, stress-free, and far more enjoyable. Our driver and guide, Said, was exceptional in every way: courteous, friendly, considerate, and always attentive to our preferences for the day’s schedule. We were consistently dropped off directly at our riads—or escorted to them—and Said would walk in with us to make introductions to the hosts. Each morning, he arrived promptly with an immaculate car stocked with bottled water. He always gave us the choice between tourist-style restaurants and more local spots for lunch. Had we been driving ourselves, we certainly would have missed these casual local eateries, which became some of our favorite experiences and gave us a taste of “authentic Morocco” as we would have also missed the experiences of his impromptu roadside stops for fresh fruit and freshly made olive oil. Thanks to Said’s warm personality and strong connections with local people, we also enjoyed special experiences (which we undoubtedly would have missed out on if we were on our own self-guided tour) such as a stop to hear traditional Gnawa music and a memorable visit with a Berber family in the desert. His care, hospitality, and knowledge truly elevated our trip. Thank you, Said, for taking such wonderful care of us! The local private guides arranged for us in Fes, Chefchaouen, and Rabat were excellent as well. Our accommodations were all very comfortable, and the breakfasts at each one were delightful.   We are extremely grateful for the work Med did to put this trip to Morocco together for us. We simply had no idea that the trip would be as fantastic as it was! Having the pleasure of our own private tour, where possible, also allowed us to tailor things a bit to our interests and abilities. Overall we'd recommend anyone to use them in setting up a trip to Morocco, as their attention to detail is outstanding. Then sit back and enjoy!

  I just have to tell you how much we enjoyed the tour of Morocco. It is such a beautiful, diverse, and interesting country. From Chefchaouen to Marrakech and everything in between, it was a perfect trip. Our local guides were all knowledgeable and passionate about their country. All spoke very good English and eagerly answered questions. The hotels and Riads were beautiful and served delicious food. A huge thank you to Med, who was the heart and soul behind bringing our vision to life. He took the time to truly understand what we wanted and created a dream itinerary that perfectly blended culture, history, adventure, and comfort. Every detail was thought out and executed flawlessly. Our driver, Mustapha, was the absolute kindest. He was not only professional and reliable but also warm, helpful, and made us feel completely at ease throughout our journey. And stopped when we asked to take pictures. He explained the sites we were passing when we did not have a guide with us. He is the most incredible driver I have ever seen. I swear he had eyes everywhere. Having someone like him on the road made all the difference. A special thank you as well to Khalil, who is behind-the-scenes efforts, ensured everything went smoothly. His dedication and support were invaluable. From Chefchaouen to Fez, the Sahara desert, and Marrakech, every highlight of Morocco exceeded our expectations. We are beyond grateful for this unforgettable experience and can’t wait to plan our next adventure with DesertTrips!

  DesertTrips (Med and Khalil) worked with us extensively to refine and plan our trip, to optimize our itinerary (one week in the north of Morocco), and stay within a reasonable budget. We had local guides for half days in Rabat and Chafchaouen, but a driver/guide for our Tangier visit (3 days) in the middle; the guides provided were excellent, especially Mohamed in Chafchaouen, with his local knowledge providing for some unique experiences and visits. Additionally, the drivers provided for connections (to and from the airport) were always on time and everyone was reachable. The hotels (in the requested range) were very nice four star sites, well located, and we were happy with those selections. All of the rooms were large with comfortable, roomy beds. The staff at the hotels were very accommodating and friendly. Having breakfast "included" was a plus, also positive experiences and enjoyable events; admissions to specific venues that were “included” (The Kasbah Museum, Caves of Hercules and Cap Spartel...etc) were problem free and expeditious. Restaurants we visited for dinners were also memorable, tasty, and well located. And we even got good weather! Our tour guide Hassan, is an absolute gem. He expertly navigated us through our visit to Tangier, educating us about the history and culture of Morocco. He was careful to ensure that all of our needs were met, including pivoting our schedule when the unexpected arose to ensure that we made the most of our time. Hassan was incredibly attentive, ensuring that we were safe and well cared for. He hilariously walked us through the city sights. It was a magical experience - one we were grateful we could just experience without much concern knowing that we were in good hands the whole time. Along the way, thoughtful little gifts from our driver Hassan made me feel they were with me each step of the way, making sure I had the best experience possible. And it really really was. I can’t imagine a better time. I highly recommend DesertTrips and the next trip? They will be the first people I call!
