  We did this tour on New Year’s Eve on our last full day in Kauai and it was an awesome way to close out 2025! We literally booked the day before and got lucky to get 2 seats. Or pilot, Barrett, was experienced and funny! We felt safe the whole time! The views of the waterfalls, the canyon and the Napali coast were amazing! We chose Blue Hawaiian because we flew with them once before in Kona, HI and had a great experience! About the only complaint I have is we paid an extra 400.00 to sit up front. They asked us when we checked-in if we wanted to upgrade. We sat in front on our other flight from Kona, but we did not have to pay extra. There were 5 passengers on this Kauai flight and while we had awesome seats, it would have been interesting to see where we would have been sitting if we had not upgraded, as all 5 of us could not have sat up front. And,the other 3 people did not want to upgrade.

  It was amazing seeing Kauai from above, despite some rain at the beginning. It provides a real understanding of the size of the island and able to see some area, otherwise not seen.

  Great experience, our first time taking a helicopter. Felt very safe with our pilot Barrett. He had a relaxed nature to his presentation.

  The flight experience was great. We flew all over and saw the entire island. Our pilot Duke was awesome. Flight was smooth and he was very informative and friendly. What I didn’t like in my experience was that I was 6lbs over weight limit which says I have to have an empty seat next to me and it’s an additional fee. Which costs half price . I had 3 passengers on the flight I really doubt there would have been a single passenger that would have been on the flight with us to take the seat. Also, they try to sell “first class” front seat even when they were already getting the front seat seats. They asked if I wanted it and said no to have my family all together . Which left the other two upfront which they still tried to sell it to them. I told the couple we opted to sit in back and they would be up front anyway. So they didnt buy it, thankfully they didn’t get the extra $400 charge.

  Alex was such a great pilot and guide. We sat in the front, which is well worth the additional cost for a once in a lifetime experience! My husband sat by the door and I was between him & the pilot. I was incredibly nervous, but Alex had such a relaxed and calming demeanor as he discussed the views around us that I was soon at peace and REALLY enjoying the experience! My husband was absolutely in heaven as this was on his bucket list. It was an experience that we will NEVER forget and Kauai is definitely the place to do this for the first time!   After much research regarding Kauai helicopter tours, we booked Blue Hawaiian out of Princeville as we had a party of six and were staying in the Princeville area. Blue Hawaiian checked those boxes. The experience was exceptional. The check-in process was extremely professional and informative. Our pilot, Benson was a wealth of information regarding the terrain of Kauai as well as its history. He was also a very skilled pilot making our tour adventurous and safe all at the same time. I would highly recommend this company. Thank you!

  Amazing flight, the best tour we've ever had! We had thr tour one day postponed because of heavy rainfalls. But the result was hundreds of waterfalls in the mountains. The flight was just fabulous, I highly recommend this tour.

  What a great experience. Such a smooth ride....beautiful scenery with great interepter (our pilot) explaining everything to us. Service was exceptional... Background music made the viewing great. Kauaii is so beautiful I recommend it to all. Totally a wonderful experience.
