  Is this a joke? Why would I pay that much? Are they dreaming? No wonder the Philippines is not getting a lot of tourists. Why spend that much money there when you can pay a 10th of that prize in the Caribbean with much better infrastructure?

  If you’re considering getting PADI certified in Boracay, stop looking—Max is the instructor you need! I completed my Open Water PADI certification with him during my vacation, and it was hands-down one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Max is not only incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but he also brings an energy and passion for diving that’s absolutely contagious. From the very first session, he made me feel confident, safe, and excited to learn. He has a calm, clear way of explaining everything, and he tailors the training to match your comfort level without ever making you feel rushed. What really stood out was how much Max cared about making the experience memorable, not just about ticking boxes for certification. He knew all the best dive spots around Boracay, gave great advice, and made each dive fun and unforgettable. By the end of it, I didn’t just feel like a certified diver—I felt like part of the diving community. If you’re even remotely curious about diving, trust me—go with Max.   I had an amazing freediving experience with Dive Gurus in Boracay! I did a 20m dive and a fun dive with freediving instructor Dom, who was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and cool. From the moment we started, I felt completely safe and well-guided. Dom provided excellent tips that helped me improve my technique and feel more confident in the water. The whole experience was well-organized, and the Dive Gurus team made everything smooth and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a top-notch freediving school in Boracay, this is the place to go!   Had the most amazing experience with my instructor Karlo! He is a great teacher (patient, encouraging and funny). Signing up to take a class is like signing up to be a part of their family for a few days as well 🥳. The free coffee and tea was helpful and they also sell food and drinks (super convenient after your dive). I felt safe through all my dives and the equipment was included in the total fee (no hidden fees). I highly recommend them!

  Dive Gurus provided me with the lessons and training I needed for an Open water SSI diving certification. Ive always wanted to learn scuba and was recommended this spot to learn. Brian was a great instructor and was very knowledgeable at this craft. Got my first few dives under my belt and i'm looking forward to doing more and returning for an advanced cert!   Before I was not interested in scuba at all because I disliked snorkeling and was scared to being underwater for too long. However our instructor, Brian, did a great job teaching us and adjusting the course to slowly make us more comfortable underwater. The taught us the required skills and patiently monitored us as we drilled them. After this course I very much enjoy scuba diving and it has made me a lot more confident being in and under water. Also everyone at the dive shop is very friendly. It's a great place to just hang out between or after dives

  Our diving instructor, Andrew Gritzka was amazing. He was very informative, patient, helpful and easy to understand. He made us feel comfortable and safe in a new environment which is diving. Took us on great dives with great photos for memories. We successfully passed our open water certification with his excellent service. Highly recommended!

  Scuba Diving was an unexpected experience for us in BORACAY . Brian our diver instructor in DiveGurus guided us all the way till we end the course, answered all our questions and he was so patient. Got our certificates 👍😄 We will surely come back for our next diving experience.

  A friend recommended Divegurus for me. They are professional and take care of their students well. I had fear doing the mask removal as part of the training but they help me overcome it. From Try Scuba to Divemaster, I did it with them. Once you started and overcome your fears, it will be your addiction. Under water world is beautiful and you don’t like to stop exploring. Thanks to my Instructor Jojo and to all my dive buddies. ❤️❤️❤️
