4.00Our tour was DMZ and JSA museum and was pretty good. The bus pick was on time and had good A/C Our guide Emily was full of energy and enthusiasm. She provided lots of information about the Korean War and some stories. We both really struggled to understand most of what she said though, Emily speaks fast but her microphone did jot help. When she got off the bus and spoke without the microphone she was much easier to understand but unfortunately we missed a lot of her info (and we’re native English speakers) The highlight for us was actually speaking to a North Korea defector. He spoke for about 10mins and then we were allowed to ask a few questions. I could have spent a lot more time speaking to him as it was very interesting. The rest of the tour is very much as described…views in to North Korea from the observatory and the long walk down and in to the 3rd tunnel were worthwhile.

5.00Best DMZ tour! Our guide, Crystal from VIP Travel is the BEST!! She explained everything precisely, very informative and knowledgeable. She is very passionate in what she does. Very energetic from the beginning to the end. She manages the time well and courteous to all of us. Highly recommended! There are some strenuous short hikes and steep long walks in the tunnel. It’s well worth it.

5.00The tour went above and beyond our expectations. Our guide Eva was amazing to talk to and was very informative and nice all throughout the day. The hotel pick-up was simple. The tour was 7-8 hours but it didn’t not feel boring or drawn out.

5.00Our tour guide Moon brought exceptional high energy and keeping the group in tact to get back on schedule. She called out to the latecomers who impacted the whole group by 30 min. Loved how she also shared her own personal story of the Korean War and impact from her perspective. You can immediately tell she is a seasoned tour guide which makes the tour. Thank you to Moon!

5.00This tour is an important part of Korean history and also a piece of Global history.... We have to remember what happened here so that we reduce the risk of repeating mistakes of the past. Moon was a fantastic tour guide and she also took photos for our group. One important thing for anyone considering this tour (or any group tour, really), please give yourself plenty of time to arrive early! The day follows a quick schedule and a few people on our tour were late, which impacts the rest of us. Do not take a taxi or bus to the meeting point due to heavy traffic delays, instead it is recommended to take the subway or walk.
