5.00If you want to truly understand the heart and soul of Modena, you absolutely must book this walking food tour with Alessia. She is an absolute gem of a guide! From the moment we started, it was clear that her expertise goes far beyond a standard tour script; she possesses a deep, encyclopedic knowledge not just of Modena's history, but of the entire Emilia-Romagna region and its world-renowned culinary traditions. The highlight of the experience was, without a doubt, the food. We were treated to four amazing tastings throughout our walk, and each stop was flawlessly curated and incredibly delicious. Alessia didn't just introduce us to the dishes; she painted a vivid picture of the region's gastronomic heritage with every bite, explaining the meticulous preparation and the cultural significance behind the local flavors. Her passion for the city and its culinary arts is completely contagious. Fantastic guide with delicious food

5.00We booked this food tour only a few days in advance and we ended up with a private tour for just the two of us with our guide Linda and her friend who joined us. It was very special. We first had a fantastic balsamic vinegar tasting, then delicious appetisers with Lambrusco. We then had a walk round as Linda explained about some of the buildings and monuments and told us lots of interesting facts about Modena. Then we had a delicious pasta dinner with more Lambrusco followed by a very tasty gelato cone. We had a great time and it felt like we were having a lovely evening out with friends. We would highly recommend this tour - fantastic company and delicious food and wine.

5.00Lisa was a delight! We tasted food starting with a wonderful balsamic vinegar presentation at Giusti, then went to aperitifs at the central marketplace (amazing!!!), then on to a main course (10 star), and ended with Gelato. Lisa's knowledge of food was wonderful...there was not a question she could not answer. Bravo Lisa!!

5.00This tour was the highlight of our trip. It was so nice to learn more about Modena and the pride taken in their high quality food. Sitting in the market having wine and tasting foods was an experience that can’t be beat! We enjoyed every stop and left happy and full. Our guide Kayleigh was an incredible host, giving care and attention to all of the guests. She also gave us recommendations for dinner. We would do this tour again if we could, I highly recommend it!!
