The tour was so amazing highly recommend. Nice to have a small group. The boat ride through the Douro river was so nice as well. Our tour guide andrea was very knowledgeable and attentive.

Wonderfully entertaining! Our guide Alex was knowledgeable and gave great history of the region in between winery visits!

My wife Karola and I took a tour of the Douro Valley on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. What a surprise it was to meet your wonderful guide Sara, who accompanied us throughout this magnificent day of visiting the Douro Valley and tasting Ports and wines. Sara provided all the explanations in French, and although we speak English, we greatly appreciated her commitment and kindness. Sometimes it is worth paying a little more for a luxurious tour; it was worth it.

Cancelled on us last minute- didn’t offer a real solution other than to take us two days later which didn’t work with our travel plans

We had Alex as a driver and tour guide. He was very punctual as a start. During the tour he shared a lot of interesting information about the neighbouring region, Portugal and the trip. The itinerary was great. The pace was just perfect and he returned us on time.

The arrangements and communication was excellent. Our driver/guide, Samual, was charming, knowledgeable and efficient. Everything about the tour was top notch. Three wine tastings at beautiful, historic wineries; the meals were delicious; the river cruise was enchanting; and the landscape and views were amazing.. The tour was a full eight hours but worth the commitment. W3 also made some new friends!

Very interesting tour around the Douro region with our guide Samuel. We visited two separate vineyards - one privately owned organic wine company and one corporate. Each vineyard has their own guide to help us learn more about the wine. We learnt how the land is cultivated from our guide Samuel, who was very helpful and informative. Thanks for a brilliant day.

This tour was great experience. Be prepared for LOTS of wine, as well as nice treats and lunch. Jorge was a wonderful, informative tour guide, and a great driver! Pickup and drop off was on time and everything went smoothly. It was worth the price!
