Amazing Biking and Hiking in Nikko with Takashi

5.00My wife and I did the Biking and Hiking Mt Nagetsu tour with Takashi. We wanted to do some cycling in Nikko and found Takashi’s tour - so happy we did. Of the 3 bike tours we did while in Japan, this was our clear favorite. Takashi arrived promptly at our hotel to take us to the Lake Chuzenji visitor center where we grabbed the e bikes and started heading uphill to the Mt Hangetsu observatory. We got lucky and saw amazing fall foliage. Once at a parking area, we hiked up to the observatory (about 20-30 minutes) for a stunning 180 degree view of the lake and surrounding mountains. It even snowed a little on the mountain which was great. Takashi took photos of us and air dropped them to us after the tour - he is a great photographer. He’s also super friendly and willing to go with whatever pace / flow you’d like. He will take you to a convenience store prior to the tour so you can pick up a few things to eat for lunch near the Mt Hangetsu stop. All in all an amazing day. Thanks so much Takashi!
