  We are a family of four with children ages 10 and 8, and we recently had the absolute pleasure of touring Christ the Redeemer with Rio Cultural Tours. Our guide, Fabio, was exceptional from start to finish. He arrived 10 minutes early in a spotless, comfortable car, and his punctuality set the tone for a perfectly organized day. Thanks to the early start time, we were able to beat the crowds at Christ the Redeemer, which made the experience even more special and enjoyable for our family. It was truly worth getting up early. Fabio has been guiding tours for over 14 years, and it absolutely shows. He is a wealth of knowledge about Rio — the city, its history, its people, and its culture. He shared fascinating information in a way that was engaging and easy for both adults and kids to connect with. This was a private tour, which we loved. It was just the five of us, and everything moved at our pace. There was never any pressure or rushing. Fabio consistently checked in to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. He was also fantastic at taking photos and captured some truly great family pictures for us that we’ll treasure. After visiting Christ the Redeemer, we drove through the Tijuca Rainforest, which was a beautiful and leisurely experience with several scenic stops. The views from the Chinese View lookout were stunning, and we got another amazing family photo there. We also visited a beautiful waterfall and did a short hike up to a cave. The hike is uphill and takes a bit of effort (or so my daughter thought), but it is absolutely worth it — such a cool and memorable stop. The tour lasted the full five hours as described and ran perfectly on time. Everything was seamless and well organized. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Rio — especially families looking for a knowledgeable, professional, and personable guide.
