  Fabulous ship, incredible pool. The service by Ryan (our butler) was top notch, the meals were tasty, kayaking was fun, the room was well appointed, the excursion to the cave was memorable. Highly recommend.

  This was a bait and switch for us. We booked a small luxury boat and paid for a private suite and then were instead switched to a ship that was cheaper, with more people and given a standard room. When I was contacted the tour operator made it seem like we were being upgraded. We paid 800.00 and got switched to a 600.00 cruise. VIator did not stand by us and the tour operator refused to refund us the difference. This is not at all a review of the staff on the ship. They were all amazing and did a great job taking care of us and making sure we were happy.

  The cruise was fabulous even though it was cloudy. We had a great time. Peter, our steward was extremely helpful The meals were amazing and we definitely didn’t go hungry.

  Superb Halong bay cruise! The amenities and luxury of this cruise is next level. Service from Nar and Alex was fantastic. Definitely recommend this splurge when coming to Vietnam, Halong bay

  We had booked on the Stellar of the Seas but were moved to the Elite of the Seas boat due to maintenance. All of the communications were quick, accurate and really helpful. This was such a fantastic time for us all. The room was a 5 star room. Really well appointed including a private bath. The food was a magnificent fine dining experience. The kayaking and fishing were also really fun, with the staff being really helpful and friendly. We loved having a pool on the boat. Mr Harry and Miss Cece really looked after us really well and were very helpful. We all really enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend this trip! (Save your pennies in advance and go on this bot rather than a cheaper one, and you won’t regret it!!)

  This is the best luxury boat to see Halong Bay. The food was amazing!! Chau the crew did everything to make our trip even better. She went kayaking with us and squid fishing. Nam xu was our waiter he was so good, making sure we had everything we needed. By far this is the best boat to take in Halong Bay

  Great trip out to the islands. Well organised, good food and entertainment. Our guide Bobby D was knowledgeable and good fun. Over night anchored in the bay was a great experience. Would love to do 2 nights next time.

  I chose to book with this company because of the good reviews but I was extremely disappointed. The cruise itself was fine (La Casta) but the organisation and communication by Halong Bay Cruise Hunters was very bad! I tried to book in for one cruise but it then became unavailable. Okay, fine. But that wasn’t the end. I then must have put in 5 hours of admin time texting with the person organising it, who reached out to me via WhatsApp. In the weeks before our trip they kept changing which cruise we could do and the prices kept going up from the price we originally booked. Wanting it to just be sorted out, I agreed to book the more expensive cruise. Literally the day before our cruise, they messaged AGAIN and asked us to change to another cruise. It was too late to book anywhere else so I just agreed. There was drama with getting picked up on the day as they kept changing pick up location and time and drivers details. When we got dropped off, the driver took us to the wrong port, adding 30 mins to the travel time and making us hold up everyone else on the cruise. When we got picked up at the end, we got on the van at 12pm but the driver took 90 mins to pick up everyone within a 5 mins driving radius and he got lost, until a passenger showed him directions on Google. For some reason the returning trip van had NO luggage storage and 14 passengers, so all the suitcases were stacked in the aisles and next to my partner. Considering this was a ‘5 star cruise and transport experience’ and very expensive, I rocked better. Honestly, arranging our own taxi would’ve been faster and safer.
