  My wife and I recently visited San Francisco, and booking a tour with The San Francisco Tour Company was hands down one of the best decisions we made. I’ve been to SF a few times before, but this was my wife’s first visit, and I wanted to give her something memorable for her birthday. Chris absolutely delivered. From the moment we stepped into the van, everything felt easy, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming. The van itself was modern, super comfortable, and made the entire experience feel relaxed and low stress. Chris has such a personable, down to earth energy that immediately puts everyone at ease. You can tell he truly cares about giving people an amazing experience, not just checking boxes on a route. The tour was around four hours, but honestly, it flew by. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen, the views and photo opportunities were incredible, and we learned so much history about San Francisco along the way. Chris also gave fantastic recommendations for places to eat and things to explore afterward, which made the rest of our trip even better. One thing that really mattered to us personally: we are a gay couple, and Chris made us feel completely safe, respected, and welcomed the entire time. That level of comfort means more than people realize when you’re traveling, and it added so much to the experience. If you’re visiting San Francisco and want a tour that feels personal, comfortable, informative, and genuinely fun, I cannot recommend Chris enough!   A very nice customised tour of SFO. Chris is so amazing & very knowledgeable about the city. He ensured that all my priorities are taken care off and added a surprise stop for me which I asked to remove as it was not fitting scheduled but he added it as a surprise. A much recommended tour if you want to have a private & customised tour.

  Chris has the perfect combination of knowledge, wit, friendliness, and energy -- he's a great guide! Although I've been to SF numerous times, the tour touched on places I'd never visited and I learned to love the city even more. Chris engaged with our group so well and offered great advice for other parts of our vacation in the city and in the wine country. The eco-friendly VW van was roomy, quiet, and tricked out. It was comfortable and powerful enough to handle the hills with ease while still a size that allowed us to travel down Lombard Street and neighborhoods that larger buses can't access. The tour is great whether you're visiting SF for the first time or if you already know the city well -- there's always more to learn! Thanks, Chris!

  We had an incredible experience touring San Francisco with Chris! He provided just the right amount of information and engagement, while still allowing flexibility on the tour to stay longer at certain sites if we preferred. He was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to answer many of the random questions we had along the way. The tour van itself was nice and comfortable, and allowed us to traverse certain parts of San Francisco that larger tour vehicles can’t (Lombard St, etc.). I highly recommend this three hour tour of San Francisco to anyone who is visiting the city for their first time, but also to tourists who are returning and want to learn a bit more!

  We had an absolute blast on this tour! Chris, our guide, was super knowledgeable and brought the city's history to life with fascinating stories and fun facts.
