  Marcela is an amazing guide and a super fun person to walk around the city with. She is very knowledgeable and keeps her energy up throughout the day!   We were lucky to have Marcela Tamayo as our tour guide. Highly knowledgeable about flora, fauna, culture, history, art, typical food, etc. It is a complete and very entertaining tour. In addition to getting to know the most important tourist sites and learning a lot about Colombia, we had the opportunity to try the tea of coca, chicha, capibara, ajiaco, typical Colombian fruits, etc. all included in the tour price. An obligatory experience for those who want to know Bogota and its culture.

  After a mix-up of the booking, which was resolved with a few messages the rest of the trip was great. The guide, Adriana was friendly and informative and the driver, Leonado was also good. The tour had a good mix of nature and culture and I would highly recommend.

  Upon arriving in Bogota and wondering what I had got myself into we quickly learned that this opportunity was a gift. The gift was having my eyes and consciousness opened to the wonder of the Colombian Culture and people. Our guide had suggested a few walking and funicular tours we could do with a day walking group tour or solo and we followed his advice closely. First we took the Funicular up to the cathedral atop Monserrate and were dumbfounded by the beauty and vista of Bogota from above. We joined a walking city tour and explored the old city and sampled exotic fruits and standard Colombian fare. Later we walked thru the Art Gallery to view some of Botero's art and then the Bibliotecha (Library) where a Mariposa (butterfly) photo display was on view. What a fantastic day of discovery before joining our nine day guided tour of Colombia.
