5.00Very enjoyable day. Alessandro is very friendly and will give you facts and explain the history that you wouldn't normally get. The lunch provided was a real treat. The transport is clean, air conditioned. Really enjoyed rhe day. I would be prepared, there is a bit of walking involved but most of the steep stuff can be avoided by taking the shuttle bus.
A total surprise-don’t miss this tour!

5.00What a wonderful surprise. We booked this tour without knowing anything about the church. It was amazing! The tour guide was informative. We got in a lot of steps. And we were so touched by the stories of the basilica. The drive thru the countryside was beautiful and lunch was excellent.
Much more than a church visit!

5.00It was a perfect day! I thought it would mainly be a visit to the church, but our guide started telling us everything about the region as soon as we got into the van. Additionally, the meal was delicious!
I throughly enjoyed myself with great company and learned about a fascinating building.

5.00I had a great trip with Alessandro and 7 others in a small group tour to Madonna Della Corona. The shrine is a fascinating church built into a mountain. The drive there was through beautiful mountainous countryside. Alessandro is great guide. He explained the history of the Shrine in a way that was accessible and interesting. He is a god communicator and friendly and approachable. We had great lunch in a local listeria with gluten free and vegetarian options. I throughly enjoyed myself with great company and learned about a fascinating building.

5.00Highly recommend. Everything was better than we expected. It was a relaxing 1/2 day outside of Verona. We learned so many interesting historical facts from Alessandro about the area and the church throughout the tour. This was so much more than just a stop to see a church, which was a masterpiece. The easy, short walk there was a road dotted with the stations of the cross, a view of caves on the cliff face and the church itself had multiple levels full of stories and treasures. We were offered the option to take a bus back up the hill and the lunch waiting for us was delicious and substantial.
I would give it Ten out of Five Stars

5.00The view of the church is breathtaking! The history is incredible and our lunch was delightful. It was an amazing tour. We loved spending time with Alessandro. He loves the history and it shows. He was very knowledgeable of the entire region, we learned a lot. He really made our trip!

5.00Great tour today with Alessandro. He is smart, fun, experienced, educated, and sensitive. His English is excellent. We learned a lot from him about the region and about the Sanctuario. He has a nice van with space for luggage. Highly recommend!
