  This was one of my favorite experiences in Thailand! The village is wonderfully charming and the people are quite welcoming. Seeing the gibbons was fantastic, and I loved that they are free to roam as they please. Uno was the best guide, and absolutely made our trip. He was knowledgeable and funny, and quite adaptable. Even after driving and working all day, we told him that we wanted to see some reptiles and amphibians and he arranged for us to go that night!   Successful search of the shy Gibbons on both days. Very friendly host family, super delicious food, coffee harvest, food in the jungle with tea making in a bamboo cane, evenings around the Lagrfeuer sat with drr host family and their friends.   We had the best time with one and his family, he was the best guide we could have asked for! Couldn’t have felt more comfortable. We loved seeing the nontouristic side of thailand, the people were so nice and inviting. In two days we saw and experienced such an unbelievable amount of things, really a one in a lifetime experience! • Amazing 2 day stay in the Karen village

  We went on the 2 day gibbon tour in the Karen village and it was an unforgettable experience! Our guide Uno was so friendly and made us feel at home right away. We got to experience seeing and hearing gibbons swinging through the tree tops, and enjoyed an evening in a local home learning how to craft cups and baskets from bamboo. We explored the jungle and saw many interesting insects, ate fruit straight from the trees and were given a tour of their amazing polyculture farms. The accommodation was comfortable and the food was nutritious and delicious. I would recommend this experience so highly to any nature lovers and people wanting to experience Thailand off the beaten path.   This experience was beyond our expectations! Our guide welcomed us into his village and family, making us feel like part of their home. We learned about the local plantations and traditions, and most importantly, we had the rare opportunity to see the gibbons in the wild, free in the Thai forest.   If there were 10 stars, I would give 10. If there were 100 stars, I would give 100. Even if there were 1000, I would still give 1000. Uno is an incredibly warm, hospitable, fun, and very professional tour guide. I feel so lucky to have been hosted by him, sincerely and strongly recommend both him and this journey!

  Such an amazing host, everyone was warmly welcomed by uno and local community into the village. Very funny and generous! The accommodation was much better than expected, very clean and all meals were prepared by the host family. Food was great too!!! Uno was determined for us to see the gibbons and I’m so glad we did :)
