テイスティング イン ザ ダーク エクスペリエンスは、ハーディーズ ティンタラ セラー ドアから始まります。セラードアでホストと会い、強化されたバレルホールに案内されます。この部屋は元のワイナリーの最下層にあり、摂氏 18 度の一定温度に保たれているため、寒い季節には必ずジャケットをご持参ください。次に、ホストがワインの試飲プロセスを案内し、そのプロセス中に各感覚がどのような役割を果たしているかについて説明します。照明を落とし、目隠しをし、黒いワイングラスで飲みながら、視覚を取り除くと何が起こるかを発見し、それがワインのテイスティング体験にどのような影響を与えるかを理解します。このテイスティングは、ワインの知識を深め、自分の味覚をより深く理解することを目的としています。

5.00We had an incredible time at Hardy’s Tintara, experiencing’Tasting in the Dark’. Our host Alistair was very knowledgeable and knew how to engage with our group. Hardy’s has so much history and of course delightful wines!

5.00Such a wonderful surprise birthday present for my husband! Rachel, our guide/winemaker was fabulous in setting up the scene to make us aware how important our senses are in delivering information to our brain. Well organised and scheduled, and we enjoyed some wonderful wines , which get changed around for the tastings, so no cheating!!! Our first round was poured with blindfolds on so we didn’t see the wine and so she could light the candles etc. Black glasses made it impossible to tell by sight what the wine may be. We used our senses. We had another lovely couple join us, who were enjoying a Mystery Picnic Event. We had a lot of laughs and learnt new things!!!!! A really great experience. We also joined the Wine Club and get 25% discount on their wines and also at a variety of wineries….due very soon to add more wineries to that list due to a merger!!! Highly recommend it, and also a visit to the Fleurieu Arthouse on the same property…gobsmackingly inspirational and open from Thursday to Sunday 11-4pm

5.00We arrived at Hardy's close to the end of the day but were still made to feel welcome. We had a quick tasting and chose a very good red. The staff were relaxed and informative. We hope to return and spend more time learning about wines from this great name.
