  Great overview of Haarlem. Note the bike shop meeting place apparently recently moved from directly across from the Train station to the right side of the train station as you're coming out of the station.

  I booked this PRIVATE tour two weeks ago and printed the receipt and details. THE MEETING POINT CHANGED AND NO ONE ALERTED ME. I had to walk 25 minutes to the “new” meeting point. I am VERY disappointed in this company.

  My group of five did a countryside bike tour in Haarlem. It was our fourth bike tour of our trip and was a lot of fun. Our guide, Marino, was entertaining and informative. We biked through the national park and through beautiful parks. It was truly lovely. The only suggestion I’d make is for the company to consider a short stop midway for coffee or a drink. Otherwise it was great. We would definitely do it again!

  Excellent. Top of the line tour! Easy riding on 3 speed hub geared bikes. We loved it. 5 out of 5. One issue though...where are they? Their website keeps it a secret. They are now right across from the Haarlem train station. Look for a Green bike store about 100 metres across. They used to be at Raaks Halle Drossestraat 2 Haarlem. Don't go there.

  During our bike tour yesterday in Haarlem we had a great experience that far exceeded our expectations. Our Guide was not only extremely friendly and knowledgeable, but also had an in-depth knowledge of the city and its history. What really made this tour special, however, was that, in addition to the famous Things to do, we also discovered some hidden gems that we would have definitely missed otherwise. From quaint streets to hidden courtyards and unknown works of art, each stop on the route brought something new and unexpected. Our Guide shared stories and anecdotes that brought Haarlem's history to life, making for a rich and engaging experience. The route was well laid out and perfectly balanced between culture, nature and relaxation. In short, this bike tour is an absolute must for anyone who wants to discover Haarlem in a unique and thorough way. A perfect mix of familiar highlights and hidden treasures, led by a top guide!

  Last weekend we took a city trip with friends, this year to Haarlem. As always, we book a bike tour through the city and we almost always do this through Baja Bikes. This has always been well arranged and has never been disappointing, both at home and abroad. We would have the tour on Saturday morning at 10am. On Friday afternoon we received a call from Bike Tours Haarlem and were informed via a voicemail message that the tour could not take place on Saturday morning! They had no guide and forgot to follow through with the cancellation and notify Baja Bikes, and thus us, a few weeks ago. I tried to contact Bike Tours Haarlem by telephone. I called 12 times, went through all possible extension menus and finally left a voicemail. An hour later I received a call back and was answered by a different young man than the one who left the voicemail. Perhaps it would have been better for them to consult together first, because this person told a different story than his colleague. It was almost laughable! 2 Different stories, 2 different excuses! In any case, on Friday afternoon around 5:30 PM our tour for the following morning was canceled and we had to figure it out. Fortunately, we still enjoyed ourselves on Saturday morning, but would have preferred a guided city tour to introduce us to the fun and interesting things of Haarlem. I would like to note that the 'working method' of Bike Tours Haarlem is separate from Baja Bikes! We have already booked many tours through Baja Bikes and they usually organize them themselves. Now they would have Bike Tours Haarlem do this and that was not a success for us in any case. So not a positive experience for us with Bike Tours Haarlem!

  Also everyone else in the group was Dutch, our guide Arnauld made sure to translate everything in English for the two of us. He was friendly and knowledgeable about Haarlem‘s history and took us around on a pleasant and informative tour.

  Loved our tour with Reuben. It was a great to get around Haarlem and learn all the history and local stories. Reuben was a very engaging and helpful guide. Would definitely recommend!
