What To Expect
The Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Sebastian
ピックアップ後、車を駐車して、リオデジャネイロのメトロポリタン大聖堂を訪れます。エドガー フォンセカによって計画され、1979 年に発足し、ノッサ セニョーラ ド カルモ教会に代わって市の大聖堂になりました。直径106メートル、外側の高さ75メートル、内側の高さ64メートルの円錐形のピラミッドの形をしたモダンなスタイルで、立食で20,000人を収容できます。直線的で地味なラインを持つ建物の違いは、ドームまでの壁に引き裂かれた色付きのステンドグラスの窓によるものです。

5.00As I look at the beautiful photos Renata sent us after the tour and I remember our fabulous day in Rio historical center, I wonder where to start in reviewing this tour. It began punctually at the agreed time and away we went to the historical center. Here Renata showed us the main attractions with detailed but not overwhelming explanations of each place or building. I particularly loved the little hidden gems she pointed out for us, that otherwise might have gone unnoticed. Along the route, she asked us if we would like to see more or less of a specific attraction, offered alternatives and suggestions, and changed the route accordingly. Overall, she went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that we see only what we wanted or were interested in. Also, she took lots of beautiful pictures of places and of us but without being intrusive. The tour went at a leisurely pace with breaks when we wanted them. A wonderful tour of a wonderful place that I highly recommend!
