  Kadir solo guided me through Agia Sophia with great care, deep knowledge, and exceptional interpersonal skills in the English language. Highly recommend hiring Kadir for any tour guides in Istanbul. I was very impressed with the variety, the depth, and amazingly accurate details of Agia Sophia’s nearly 1700 year long history in all of its many phases that Kadir shared in a humble yet confident manner.   I had an amazing experience on this tour. My guide, Kadir, was absolutely outstanding. From the moment he picked me up at my hotel until he brought me back at the end of the tour, he was professional, attentive, kind, and genuinely committed to making the experience special. Kadir is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Istanbul and Turkey. He explained in great detail the history, meaning, and cultural importance of every place we visited, including Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar. His explanations made the city come alive, and I felt like I was not just seeing historic places, but truly understanding their importance. What made the tour even better was Kadir’s personality. He is not only an expert guide, but also a great person — patient, thoughtful, respectful, and very attentive throughout the entire day. He made sure everything was comfortable, smooth, and enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Istanbul, especially if you want a deep, meaningful, and well-guided experience of the Old Town. Kadir made this tour unforgettable.   We met Kadir by chance outside Hagia Sofia and liked his guiding and information so much, we hired him to guide us through the palace and other notable places in Istanbul. His historical knowledge was impressive. Highly recommend him.

  Kadir was a great combination of deep knowledge and wonderful personality. He has a great sense of humor and put us at ease immediately. He was very helpful when it came to buying things from local companies too. We did so much in one day. And got great exercise in as well :).

  I highly recommend Kadir as a guide in Istanbul. My tour was so much fun - interesting, informative and highly enjoyable. Kadir is a very qualified historian, shares his love of the history of his city with knowledge and enthusiasm.   Kadir was a wealth of knowledge and an incredible guide!! He was worth every dollar!! We would seek him out as our guide anywhere he guides!! Topkapi Palace, Harem section and the Basilica Cisterna came to life with Kadir. Very easy to communicate with, understand and a great sense of humor! Plus he gave us great recommendations for food, etc and went out of his way to make sure we got there. Touring in Istanbul is better with Kadir!
