  Amazing day in Ithica! Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and really cared about giving us an expirence that was tailored to our interests. This island is stunning! I am grateful for the tour we took, we got to see many sites and hear stories that we would have not been able to do on our own. I highly recommend!

  This trip to Greece was our graduation gift for our eldest daughter, who fell in love with Greek mythology when she was 5, loved Percy Jackson in childhood, and became immersed in Homer's Odyssey in college. Visiting the land and Palace of Odysseus is a dream come true for her and Dimitris made it happen! Impressively, Dimitris tailored our tour so everyone in our family was happy, including our younger daughter who is not especially a fan. Dimitris is warm and knowledgeable. In addition to showing us all the important landmarks (Palace of Odysseus, Vathy Museum, statue of Homer, Penelope, Lord Byron, and of course Odysseus). Because we are fans of Asterix and Obelix, he showed us a Menhir made by nature. He took us to some beautiful beaches with intense turquoise waters, a wonderful lunch spot by the water (order the grilled sardines - literally caught next to you), gave us time to explore on our own in Vathy (best bakery - get the orange honey syrup cake!), drove us safely and comfortably on winding roads through scenic villages and vistas, and taught us the history and mythology surrounding the island of Ithaca (Ithaki).

  This was absolutely the best day trip ever. Our guide, Dimitris was very knowledgeable about the entire island. He went above and beyond our expectations, making the experience unforgettable. I would highly recommend this tour and Dimitris. We didn't want the day to end. Thank you Dimitris!

  This was a private trip i.e. just the two of us. It was a really good day where we got to see beautiful Ithaca. Our guide knew all the places we could go but, we got to choose where we went and what we did. You could be as active as you want (or not).

  This tour is great for anyone wanting to experience more of the Ionian Islands. Custom tour that you decide what to do. Although, our guide helped us decide by offering many options. The views are stunning, the history almost endless and you can even go swimming in one of the many secluded beaches. You are driven everywhere so, as little or as much walking as you prefer.   Just spent the most amazing day in Ithaca, thanks to Dimitris. His knowledge of the history of Ithaca and Homer’s Odyssey is extensive and he’s very interesting to listen to. He suggested an itinerary based on our interests and was more than happy to stop wherever and whenever we wanted, nothing was too much trouble. I never felt rushed at any of our stops and wasn’t made to feel like I was just a customer. His vehicle is very comfortable and his driving is excellent – I felt very safe on the steep, narrow roads and hair-pin bends! He was very easy to communicate with via WhatsApp, quick to reply and always punctual – even tracking the location of the return ferry so we could arrive at the port at exactly the right time, maximising our experience of the island. I’m so glad we chose Dimitris (kefaloniatours.gr) for our tour, he went out of his way to make our day special and we are very grateful. Thank you Dimitris! – L&F.

  A door to door service provided by Dimitris in a comfortable 7 seater car. Early start to get the ferry to Ithaca from Sami then a tailored tour based on your interests on this small, mountainous and very beautiful island.   Excellent tour with an informative guide. He put together a good itinerary and checked in for guidance on suggestions. We did two tours with this company and your experience really depends on the driver. The Ithaca tour was excellent compared to the Kefalonia tour where the driver expected us to come up with the itinerary ourselves, for which we were not prepared.

  This is a must for anyone traveling to Kefalonia. Our tour guide Dimitris was friendly, knowledgeable and very flexible with all our requests. We visited all the places we wanted to and even explored some new ones. Loved every minute!
