  It was an unforgettable experience to sample a wide variety of local products in beautiful surroundings. Our tour guide Franck went to great lengths to fulfil our wishes and show us wild koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, pelicans and breathtaking views, and gave us many interesting insights into the history and everyday life of the island. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

  Such a great day! Plenty of places to taste the best the island has to offer - lavender scones, wine, gin. Everyone super friendly and my driver Darren was great to chat with, gave some good history about Kangaroo Island.

  WARNING - DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY We have had a terrible experience dealing with Kangaroo Island Trails. Our ship captain announced on the 6th of March that due to poor weather, we would not be visiting Kangaroo Island the following day. I notified Kangaroo Island within 10 minutes of this announcement, however they have refused to provide any refund at all. The customer service has been very poor. I have sent numerous emails and messages in which they did not acknowledge at all. I can still not believe that this company would not offer any refund at all on over $400, where there only reason we did not do the 'Ship shore excursion' was because our ship did not go to Kangaroo Island. There were a lot of customers in the same situation, and apparently they have not refunded any money to anyone!!! Incredible at $200+ per ticket, they just pocketed thousands of dollars for a tour that did not even happen!!!

  Our driver, Joel, was fantastic & very funny! Unfortunately, the only good part of the tastings was the giant scone at the lavender park. We went to a honey farm but there was no honey tastings at all & the alcoholic tastings in Gin, Wine & Cider were all extremely dry, There was no time to stop for scenic photos anywhere & it was Kangaroo Island but if there hadn't been a rescue Kangaroo & Joey in the Cider place we visited, we wouldn't have seen any of them. All of the tasting places were on the opposite side of the island to the port, therefore, it took a very long drive to get to the first stop & a very long drive back to port which I believe is a waste of time but possibly unavoidable.

  Terrific day, we got to see a lot of places but never felt rushed. Saw how many products were made and did lots of good tastings. Cheryl, our guide/driver was very knowledgably about the area. Cheryl was friendly and made sure we had a relaxed and fun day.

  We toured with Lutz for the whole day. We were picked up right off the airport and Lutz made sure we visited our favored options. We visited eucalyptus and lavender farms, tasted beers, scones, had several wine tasting and even had bee honey ice cream. We stayed longer were we wanted to stay longer. My girls were interested more in the body products made with eucalyptus, tea tree oil and lavender. That's what a perfect tour for us was as a family. We recommend this private tour with Lutz where you get to travel at your own pace.

  We booked last minute as we weren't sure what we wanted to do while in KI so the full day food and wine tour gave us the opportunity to see various parts of Kangaroo Island and what it has to offer and to be honest, it didn't disappoint! Our Tour Guide Lutz (not sure if this is the correct spelling apologies if it isn't) was fantastic, he was extremely knowledgeable and we never felt rushed. The Scones at Lavender Farm were superb, the Honey Ice cream is such a treat, Bay of Shoals was fabulous and Cactus where we went for lunch was superb! KI Spirits is a treat if you are a Gin connoisseur, I'm not but still purchased a bottle of Mulberry Gin which was pretty special. Overall, we had an absolute ball and would highly recommend this tour, it was just a perfect day

  Interesting tour, we enjoyed all the places we visited. Our tour guide Luca was both very friendly and informative. The Lavender Farm has the biggest and best scones we have tasted. Great day tour .

  We were really surprised at the beauty and size of Kangaroo Island. Being on Vasco da Gama, we really appreciated having Gethen awaiting our arrival at the port. Our itinerary had brought this visit forward, but no problem to Kangaroo Island Trails. After an introduction by having delicious coffee at a cliff top caravan, overlooking a beautiful beach, we continued on our way, visiting many of the sights of the Island..Lavender ( with lunch), Honey, Gin and much more...all in quite remote areas, down long dirt roads. The day following our visit, the fires began...what a dreadful event, to destroy so much of such an iconic piece of Australia. we felt for everyone there, and truly hope Gethen escaped the fires. Our thanks to you for providing these tours, and also for your promptness in getting us back to the ship on time. Joy and Graham Watts.
