Chinese Fishing Nets
中国漁網 (Cheena vala) は、インドの定置式揚網の一種です。漁業用に固定された陸上設備である漁網です。インドでは一般に「中国漁網」として知られていますが、このような網のより正式な名前は「海岸操作リフトネット」です。巨大な機械装置が、直径 20 メートル以上の水平ネットを支えます。それぞれの構造物は高さ少なくとも 10 メートルで、海の上に張られたネットを張ったカンチレバーと、もう一方の端で釣り合いおもりとしてロープに吊るされた大きな石で構成されています。各施設は最大 6 人の漁師からなるチームによって運営されます。このような網は中国南部とインドシナの沿岸全域で使用されていますが、インドでは主にコーチやコーラムなどのインドの都市で見られ、観光名所になっています。この漁法はインドでは珍しく、14 世紀にインドに上陸した中国人の探検家によって導入されたため、ほぼこの地域独自のものです。

5.00Anwar was our Tuk tuk driver & guide. He collected us promptly then took us to local sights in kochi, was happy to explain things to us whenever we had questions. Anwar was a lovely friendly man who took us to the best Dosa house where we enjoyed his company. I would recommend Anwar as your guide & driver. Ten out of ten for everything.

5.00Excellent tour service, funny, careful caring driver in his clean tuk tuk. We visited the dutch cemetary, vasco da gamas grave and the Arabian Sea, jewtown. Fiaz was always spot on
