  Lovely project offering home to rescued horses and train them for hacking on the beach. Terrain is varied and you’ve got time to fully take in the nature and the sounds of the sea. I’ll probably do this every year from now on. Special thanks to Tiago who took time to tell stories about how his horses found their way to him and also for good instruction of how is best to ride them - gentle approach using body rather than reins.

  You realise that you're in a different kind of place when the horse you are going to ride picks you - not the other way around. I was delighted to have been picked by Copper; and when you notice that your guide (Tiago) is riding bridle-less, just with a neck rope, taking five guests to the beach across the dunes - you double take again! We had the best time, I have never seen rescue horses trust their leader (and riders) to this degree, and it was fascinating to hear their stories. I loved the way the team connect with the horses; and what a priviledge to meet little "Xisto" at barely two weeks old! Congratulations!

  We had a fantastic time! Veronica was incredibly welcoming, and the horses were so gentle. Learning the history behind the place added a special layer of meaning that made the whole visit even better.

  I came during the summer and it was an incredibile experience so I wanted to try during the winter and it was even better: empty beaches, sun, incredible colors. The staff is amazing and kind, the horses are well care.

  Breathtaking views, great horses that are rescued and very well kept, friendly team. In December taking advantage that there are very few people around and there were some sunny days I did some of my best rides.

  Excellent! Our guide was very nice and made the ride a positive and peaceful experience. I also loved learning about the rescue horses. They all had unique personalities.

  It was a trip that I had decided on an ad hoc basis, but it unexpectedly became a very profound experience. The view was stunning and we were traversing the sea lanes, almost melting into the sunset. It wasn't just the ride itself, it was David's sincerity and commitment that impressed me more. Even with the temporary change of plans, he came from afar to ensure that the ride was completed as promised, and the care and commitment was touching. This ride was not only a journey, but also a very important part of my healing process. I'm grateful that we all put so sincerely into it - a memory I'll always cherish.   We absolutely loved riding horses at Meco beach - it felt dreamy with the sunset glowing over the ocean, the Portuguese coast spreading out endlessly and the horses moving gently beneath us. Definitely a moment we'll always remember. Before the ride, I did a horse constellation session with David Bernardo Santo, who has a gift for listening and guiding. I had a question about my work and had picked out three horses, but then during the session, a fourth came over, completely unprompted. David helped interpret my connections with the horses and that moment, giving me some real clarity about my career direction. Overall, this experience combined natural beauty, relaxation, and personal insights in a truly unexpected way.
