5.00Charlie was an amazing tour guide with an incredible knowledge of the land, its history, and the local culture. He made the entire experience feel personal by keeping every stop and activity at our pace, while always being supportive and accommodating. One thing that really stood out was all of his food recommendations throughout the trip, they were spot on and added so much to the experience. His insights and local expertise made the journey even more memorable. If you’re looking for a great way to explore the Road to Hana without the stress of navigating on your own, I highly recommend touring with Charlie. It was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! 🌴🚗

5.00Our Road to Hana tour was absolutely outstanding! One of the best decisions we made was doing the trip at the beginning of our vacation because it helped us learn so much about the island right away. Our guide was amazing and really listened to what we were hoping to get out of the day. He shared so much knowledge about the history, culture, and beauty of Maui, which made the experience even more meaningful. He took us to some incredible spots along the way, and the local Hawaiian music playing throughout the day created the perfect atmosphere. I can’t say enough great things about this tour. Thank you Ida for an unforgettable day and memories that will last a lifetime!
So glad we tried the Road to Hana again this way!

5.00My husband and I drive the road to Hana ourselves 21 years ago on our honeymoon and thought we’d never do it again! After visiting Oahu with our kids for the last 15+ years we wanted to switch it up and come back to Maui and this excursion came up again. We are so glad we went this route! Having someone who knows the road, great stops to make and local customs (IYKYK) took all the stress out of it and we actually enjoyed it this time… and so did our older teens (almost 19 & 18) who are the toughest critics!! Our tour guide Levi was great! He communicated in the morning when he was on his way to our hotel for pick up and from the time we got in the car he was super personable and attentive. We gave him creative freedom to make the most out of day and to make exciting stops for the young adults, which he delivered! Levi chose wonderful spots for snacks and lunch along the way too. He navigated the winding roads very well also (trust me from a professional backseat driver!). Overall it was a wonderful experience and day and we will definitely use Experience Hawaii when we come back next time for other activities. 100% recommend!!

5.00John was our driver and guide on this terrific tour to Hana and back. John was super accommodating and a pleasure. He was extremely knowledgeable of the area and we truly enjoyed his company as well as leading us on an outstanding tour. A highlight of our vacation to Maui. I highly recommend this company and especially John as your tour guide. We will definitely ask for him if and when we return to Maui.

5.00What an awesome experience! Our tour guide Levi literally could not have been any better. So much fun and fascinating information about Maui that really enhanced our visit, and he went out of his way to really make our experience great, infusing it with an insider's knowledge and taking us to local gems off the beaten path. The Road to Hana tour gets so much hype that we came in with high expectations, but Experience Hawaii Tours and Levi came in clutch. As my 16-year-old son said, "I'm going to remember this experience for the rest of my life." Truth. Thanks, guys, for being the high point of our trip!

5.00Levi made our Road to Hana tour fantastic. My husband, three sons (16, 15, 14), and I loved the day, hitting all major stops and starting with a hike on the Pi'ilani trail. The Road to Hana is amazing, and having Levi as our guide allowed us to relax and enjoy the beauty without the stress of navigating the challenging road and dealing with local drivers.

5.00Our guides Spencer and Luke really made our day extremely memorable. We had rain during most of our day so we didn't do as much walking/hiking or swimming at the waterfalls but Spencer and Luke took us to quite a few non touristy locations! It was wonderful! We met many kind and beautiful people, saw huge turtles and tons of gushing waterfalls. We ate amazing bbq at a local family place. Bought the most delicious banana bread and passion fruit shortbread cookies from another family run place and heard a lot of history about the road to Hana and Maui. If you ever get the chance to use this company, make sure you request Spencer and Luke! Mahalo!
