  Tommy was our tour guide on our first-ever trip with Luxe Tours from Queenstown to Milford Sound, and he made the whole experience unforgettable. The tour was absolutely worth the cost, and we’d love to do it again in the future. Tommy was friendly, approachable, and made the day feel relaxed from start to finish. Although it was a long day, we never felt bored or exhausted - it has been one of my highlight trips of all time. Tommy took heaps of photos for our group, shared great knowledge and stories about Milford Sound and the stops along the way, and even gave us some awesome local recommendations for our return back to Queenstown. The bus was super comfortable with plenty of leg room, and we appreciated being able to relax and even get some sleep on the drive back to Queenstown. One of the best parts was the small group size — only six people — which made the experience feel much more personal compared to the larger tour buses around. We highly recommend Luxe Tours to anyone visiting Queenstown and wanting to experience Milford Sound. Amazing service, comfort, and overall experience - we’d definitely book again.

  Luxe are the best. we had a great day. Fantastic service. Tommy the driver/guide is incredible. This is the best way to do Milford Sound. We were a family of 7 with a person with mobility restrictions and Tommy was so patient and accomodating. Luxe are #1

  having less people compared to a tour buses meant the entire experience was very comfortable (we had time to truly enjoy each site and take photos without being rushed etc). the whole day just felt comfortablr and well organised. the guide tommy was also very friendly and his commentary about the sites etc the entire day while driving was genuinely so interesting and informative. would highly recommend

  We recently did this tour from Queenstown to Milford Sound and had an absolutely fantastic experience! The scenery was incredible, but the real highlight of the trip was our tour guide, Adrian. Adrian, was friendly, highly informative, funny, and just an all-round legend. He made the whole journey enjoyable from start to finish and really added so much to the experience with his knowledge and personality. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does. The smaller sized group made it possible to stop at different locations along the way which made it much more personal. We highly recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed.

  Luxurious, relaxed, client centred, glorious views, the drive there alone was worth it with the Milford sound boat ride a wonderful addition.   OMG! Where do I start? First of all to apologise it’s taken me so long to write a review - certainly not because the service wasn’t amazing!! I cannot praise and thank Adrian enough. There is nothing I can write to describe how amazing our trip to Milford sound really was; one of the best days and our favourite part of our trip to NZ. And that was all thanks to Adrian. We couldn’t have been luckier to have such a lovely, kind, thoughtful, funny, entertaining and truly wonderful guide. Adrian went above and beyond for us - with the entertaining and informative info and stories he had, the way he checked in with us to see if we were enjoying ourselves or if we needed anything, the way he never once complained about being asked to take a thousand photos for me, and the way he just made our tour absolutely amazing. It snowed on our trip and I have to praise him also for his careful and responsible driving - we felt extremely safe with him. It was such a long day, but we didn’t want it to end and would have been very happy to stay on the bus for longer 😊 Honestly, this day made our NZ trip amazing. I’m so happy I chose to go with Luxe tours. I loved the way they seemed to genuinely care about the place and their customers, and I was so right! And their vans are so luxurious, spacious and comfortable - especially with such a long day’s travel. Please, take this as a sign to book with Luxe Tours - they are every bit of amazing and you will not be disappointed!! Thank you to Luxe Tours and thank you also to Adrian 😊

  What an amazing day touring Milford Sound! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking - stunning mountains everywhere you looked, beautiful waterfalls cascading down the cliffs, and views that felt like something out of a movie. Our tour guide was so friendly, informative, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable with their knowledge and great sense of humour.   What a wonderful experience! All starts with our awesome driver/guide, Tommy. Very knowledgeable and friendly person. He took care of every detail and made sure we were always save and comfortable. The road trip portion is full of incredible sites and navigating across the fiord is as magic and it Sounds. I would take this tour again without hesitation.

  Absolutely incredible experience with Luxe Tours to Milford Sound! I looked at many other tour options but always came back to Luxe Tours because it’s a small group tour, and I’m so glad I chose them. Tommy was an outstanding driver and guide — friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely passionate about the region. He made the long journey feel effortless with interesting stories, local history, and plenty of scenic stops along the way. The smaller group size made the experience feel much more relaxed, personal, and enjoyable compared to the larger bus tours. Tommy knew all the best photo spots and timed everything perfectly so we never felt rushed. His enthusiasm and attention to detail really elevated the whole tour. Unfortunately no rain on the day, so the waterfalls weren’t at their fullest, but Milford Sound was still an absolutely spectacular sight and an unforgettable experience. The coach was comfortable, well-organised, and the entire experience felt premium from start to finish. Highly recommend Luxe Tours — especially Tommy — to anyone visiting Queenstown and wanting a truly unforgettable Milford Sound experience!

  A fabulous experience! Tommy is a great driver and guide who made a special adventure even better. He did an excellent job driving back in heavy rain. The cruise on the Milford Mariner topped off a great experience.
