  We climbed Mount Batur for the sunset with the guide Wira. Wira was incredibly kind and patient. He truly cares about how we are doing during the climb. Thanks to him, I have very good memories and beautiful photos.

  Had the most memorable trek with our guide Komang! Such a sweet and funny guy with a great taste in music. Saw monkeys at the top, tried volcano steamed banana for the first time and got amazing views of mount Agung. Komang had some serious photographing skills too and we got some cool photos of the starry sky on our way back. No crowds during sunset so we were able to trek on our own pace.

  We had Wira leading us for the sunset tour and Ketut for the transportation. Both of them are extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome doing this tour. Wira is very knowledgeable with the history and geology of the mountain and also lead with a very good pace. Really enjoyed the sunset view of the mountains and craters at the peak.

  We had a great time with our guide Koma. The pick up was without any trouble. The hike up was shorter than expected, and we were up before sunset. We had the mountain completely to ourselves. Unluckily there was foggy and limited view.

  We are happy got to see the amazing sunset in Bali from Mt Batur. The trek up was really challenging for about half an hour. I’m very proud of our selves able to go through the climb to witness that amazing scene there. Big thanks to our guide Wayan who kept up with our pace and gave us encouragement throughout the whole climb. He always helping us when we had difficulty trekking on the steeper roads.

  We stayed in May. 3 stops, to the coffee plantation (very peculiar, original and various tastings), to the hot springs on Lake Batur (beautiful, although perhaps the weather is a bit 'tired) and finally to go trekking. Definitely challenging route, about 2 hours of rough walking, but the surprise of what you will find there absolutely pays off the effort. Ageng great driver and Wira, the guide on the volcano, available and prepared.

  Good and organized driving. Challenging trek, 600m in altitude, in the middle of the forest and surrounded by nature. But the effort is fully rewarded at the top by the sight. With the warmth of the volcano you can cook eggs! That's great!

  We had an amazing time. Due to a last minute injury, we asked our guide if there was anyway to change our hike to a jeep tour. We are so appreciate they were able to last minute accommodate us so that we didn’t have to cancel our plans. Our guide picked us up from our hotel in Ubud and then we stopped at a coffee plantation and got to try an array of coffee and teas. There’s also a gift shop to buy some to take home. Then we headed up to the mountain and switched to a jeep for the trek up. It is a bumpy ride but was a lot of fun. Once at our spot for sunset, our guide took lots of pictures for us and even had snacks and drinks for us. Our guide dropped us off back at our hotel later. A long, memorable day.
