  Absolutely appalling. The tour guide did not arrive. We found out later that they had decided to cancel the tour, provided by Tours of Switzerland. Do not use this company, they are totally unreliable. We booked another tour with Best of Switzerland Tours, they were excellent.

  Guide was early at platform 7 in central train station. We were a group of 9. The weather was perfect today for both Mt Pilatus and Mt Rigi with no obstruction of views. We experienced all modes of transportation! This trip offers a sweeping views, and just enough time to take photos in places we wanted. Lincoln is a wonderful tour guide, he took photos for us. We enjoyed our tour! I recommend this tour if you don’t mind paying a few hundred dollars. I booked with capital one shopping link to VIATOR with 30% gift card kickback!   Lincoln, our guide, was very informative and meticulous in guising us thru the tour. He ponted out the beat spots to sit on the train/tram/boat and did a superb job explaining the culture of Switzerland as well.

  Lincoln did a great job of showing our group around Lucerne and the surrounding area. I think we got to use every form of ground transportation Switzerland has to offer.

  Readers, honestly you can plan this trip yourself for half the price. If you are staying in Lucerne hotels you get a Swiss travel card which gives you half price tickets to the mountain cable car and the boat trip. We couldn't go down the mountain railway due to the weather and were not offered a refund.
