  Overall this was a great excursion. We got to see various landscapes at our tour stops as well as the scenery along the drive. Having a smaller group than the big bus tour makes a difference. Godafoss was spectacular. Lake Myvatn provided several location stops. The lava fields were very interesting as well as the area with the mud pots and steam vents. We did not get to go to the nature baths as it was closed for renovations. The only downside was the thousands of tiny flies around the sites around Lake Myvatn that would not leave you alone. Our guide said they were not there the prior week (apparently seasonal)? They do sell bug nets for your head in the gift shop (or bring your own, or a small fan) or just try and ignore them as we did.

  It was great to see the interior of Iceland. Didn’t have much time at any spot to really enjoy it. Tour was as advertised as 5 hours but the guide thought we had 7 hours so we had to rush. The nature baths were closed which we weren’t informed of and that was a big disappointment.

  We 'chased' after a large whale for 45 minutes without looking for much else! Minimalist commentary on the local aquatic wildlife. Well-established business for this former provider of HAUGANES.

  Overall a great tour that was run exceptionally well. The guide was informative and we had just the right amount of time at each site. The only negative was the irritating bugs. They don’t bite but so swarm around your head and face. They are common in the area, and a heads up so we could have brought a head net would have been helpful.

  Fabulous tour and guide/driver. Loved every bit of it especially crawling into the beautiful cave and walking around the thermal pools and mid pools of 200 degrees. Waterfalls were spectacular.

  More than 5 hours’ tour with only 1 stop for the toilets in the beginning and no stop or time to eat something during the tour
