  Manuela and Jeff and their crew are fabulous, hosts, cooks, tour guides—you name it. They do it all! We had comfortable beds, a lovely bathtub and shower at the end of long days of dogsledding, snowmobiling, and ice fishing. It was cold enough to be bracing but sunny and mild—like spring skiing. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the lodge were healthy and delicious, always with special treats (think buffalo spaghetti sauce or mixed berry cheesecake). And the retired indoor dogs were friendly and relaxed, just like us! Highly recommended for both summer and winter. You’ll have a ball!!! Ooops, forgot the two nights of Northern Lights! • The people and dogs are the highlight of a Muktuk experience!

  Had a fantastic visit with Manuela, Jeff and the dogs. The humans at Muktuk are smart, funny, compassionate people who know every single dog inside and out. Take the time to do the same and you are guaranteed an experience that you will remember. The accommodations are rustic but comfortable (they have to be with dogs around every moment of every day!), Manuela’s cooking is fantastic, and our experiences were awesome- ice fishing, snowmobiling, wildlife preserves and hot springs in addition to the dogsledding. The Northern Lights aren’t a tour per se, more a “get your butt outstanding and look for em” mindset. Even so, as someone who only experienced them once before, I was beyond excited the simply be there and witness them. At the end of the day, for me, it was the souls of the dogs and people that have left a lasting impression. • Best Sled Dog Experience Ever

  Wow, had such a great time on this adventure. Jeff Larsen and his wife, the owners and their staff are very professional and make this adventure as safe as possible. My 13 yo grand son was able to control and ride a team of sled dogs. We had 6 of us in our group and had 5 sleds. Wonder location, wonderful experience, the dogs are so friendly and full of energy. We have been on two other sled dog experiences and this was the BEST. Truly the thing that impressed me was Jeff and his wife, take care of these dogs and they are like family. From puppy, to working sled dog, to retirement dog. They take care of them all. They run an ethical and human dog sled program and love doing it and it shows.   We had such an amazing time staying with Manuela and Jeff. We loved being surrounded by the dogs, Manuela makes you feel right at home with the lovely home cooked meals and great hospitality. The dog sledding was one of the coolest things we have ever done, a definite highlight of our trip. Getting to drive your own sled through a winter wonderland is such an incredible experience.

  We just completed an amazing 3 night stay with Muktuk Adventure in Whitehorse with our kids, ages 19, 21, 23. We loved the dog sledding, ice fishing, snowmobiling and nature reserve. Jeff and Manuela are amazing and super friendly hosts. We had delicious meals every day and the accommodation is extremely comfortable. We will definitely return to see the northern lights and the beautiful dogs again. This was a very special family trip. Thank you Muktuk!

  This was one of our favourite trips of our lives. There was not a single moment we didn't enjoyed. Much of it was thanks to Manuela. She's kind and fun, great photographer, her food was always delicious and she made sure we experienced as much as we can, in short, she is awesome. Definitely took our trip to the next level. Dog sledding was a dream come true. Jeff and team taught us everything we nedded to know and always took care of everyone. Each of us got our own sled. Going through the forest trails was not only super fun, it was magical. It felt as if we were in a Christmas tale or a fanstasy world. The house was beautifully decorated and got everything we needed. It was comfy and we had our own bathroom. There was fruit, tea, coffee and chocolate at all times. The clothes provided were warm, not even lying in the snow we got cold. Best of all, the house was full of retired dogs. They were so sweet and friendly, each of them different but all of them good boys and girls. It was delightful to be with them. We are dreaming of coming back.

  We had amazing experiences Manuela and Jeff and their crew took us some adventures which is exciting and the meals prepared by Manuela were also really great . And their dogs are adorable and super friendly! People, dogs, accommodation and activities .. All of them were perfect for us. We appreciate that they gave us unforgettable memories!

  Amazing experience. Was our first time in Yukon and will not be the last. We spent 4 days with Manuela and her crew at Muktuk. We had an amazing time. Being a dog lover, it was a very pleasant experience. Th dog sledding experience was a key moment in Yukon. Manuela and Jeff took time to explain and follow us all along the ride, making sure we had a nice experience. What a great moment we had !!! Manuela is great and always doing her best to make your stay memorable. The food prepared by Manuela was also excellent all along our stay. The snowmobile experience was also interesting and allowed us to see great views. Will certainly return in Summer for a different experience… Highly recommended !   This was my cousin’s bucket list adventure and Muktuk did not disappoint. What a great place and you feel like part of the family the moment you arrive.   The days at Muktuk Adventure were incomparable. My eyes still glow with enthusiasm when I tell about it. Manuela welcomed me and the others so warmly that it felt a bit like coming home. The program was really an adventure I would like to experience again. Whitehorse and its surroundings are also simply a dream.
