  We did both the silent electric boat tour and a 4WD tour with Steve from Silent Tours and they were absolute highlights of our Kimberley trip. Steve is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about the region, and full of interesting stories about the wildlife, history and people of the Kimberley. The silent boat tour was especially memorable, gliding quietly through nature listening to the birds was something really special. The sunset was also incredible and Steve took some great shots for us too! A genuine, authentic experience that gave us a deeper appreciation of this remarkable part of Australia.   The best tour of the Ord! Steve is a knowledgeable guide who catered the trip to what wanted and had a sixth sense for when wildlife was about to appear. The more personal tour meant we weren’t struggling to see or surrounded by a large group all trying to get photos. Steve stayed at a few spots longer to soak in the sounds and peacefulness of the place. He even has a few secret spots the big tours can’t get to. We’d do it again in a heartbeat.

  Incredibly unique experience I thoroughly recommend. Such a peaceful way to explore the Ord, surrounding ranges, and all that inhabits! Sipping on a bush tea in tranquility - that’s special! Steve is a wonderful guide and the boat is very comfortable. Perfect for our party of 4. Thanks Steve!

  A great way to experience the wildlife and beauty of this beautiful river. The electric motor gave us a chance to truely be apart of this amazing environment. Steve provided well informed information as well as a great lunch rafted up under paper barks, complete with billy tea. We would highly recommend this trip to all that would like to experience the incredible beauty and peacefulness of the area.

  With Silent Tours you get the benefit of a personalised tour where you can kick back and relax. The electric engine is terrific because you’re not scaring the wildlife away before you see them. This is great way to experience the grandeur of the Ord

  Today’s trip was just amazing. We saw many different birds and heard the call of a few we didn’t see. That was magical. Steve gave just the right amount of commentary, but also let us enjoy the quiet solitude of the environment. I highly recommend this tour if you want to get away from the crowds and enjoy the outdoors. Boat was very comfortable.

  Can’t recommend this tour guide operator highly enough . Amazing afternoon on the ord river with breathtaking views. Just amazing scenery and learned so much from Steve’s local knowledge . A personalised service , and the intimate , scenic nature of the journey makes it so unique .

  This was a wonderful trip. The electric motor and the small boat meant that we could go onto all of the little spots that were so special. We went into little nooks between the amazing walls of the Kimberly. we could hear the birds calling and Steve knew what they were and pointed them out to us…. We had a swim and a jump off jump rock…. I’m not a bird person but loved it anyway. A small local business with sharing a boat with 4 people certainly beats a boat of 50. It was worth every penny xx thanks Steve
