大島紬（おおしまつむぎ）は、日本の伝統的な絹織物。 糸づくりから染料液の抽出まで約30～40ステップで、長い年月をかけて初めて生まれる。 繊細な絣染めの糸は、織工の手によって一本一本織り上げられている。

5.00It was great to try a real kimono. They had a wide variety to choose from and Ikeda-san, the owner was very kind. It was very easy to communicate with her, and she was very nice to us. We got to choose the kimono and the obi we liked and we walked to a nearby park to take pictures outside. Unfortunately, the weather was not too good, but it was a lot of fun!

5.00The kimono-wearing experience was wonderful! The rental shop had a wide selection of patterns and colors, and the staff helped me choose a beautiful design and dressed me with such care. The dressing process was intricate but wearing a kimono was surprisingly comfortable, and so many people complimented the look. I highly recommend this experience!
