• Great activity for our family - fun way to see the islands

  This was a great activity for the family - something different.  We enjoyed rowing out to Zlarin and swimming.  It was really fun and we recommend it, but just a few pointers: the pizzeria in Zlarin does not start serving until 13:00, and they did not tell us that our orders would then be behind all the take-away orders.  So, eat lunch at the fast food place instead.  Second, the wind picks up in the afternoon so the paddle back is harder.  There was some confusion as to whether the tour included Saint Nicolas fortress.  But overall, it was really fun for the family.

  We had a great day at Zlarin Island. Our group of 7 people plus Tim, our guide, went out in 4 kayaks. After a short instruction, we crossed the channel to get to the island where we had a beautiful swim/snorkel break in a quiet bay. To get to the village of Zlarin we paddled along the beautiful island coast. After that Tim had arranged a reservation at a local restaurant where we had the best fish meal of our vacation in Croatia. We had some time for a little stroll through the village and then went back to the starting point. Everything went very well, was perfectly organized and we had a great experience. The time went by fast and we were exhausted but very happy. Thank you, Tim!

  We did the Zlarin island kayaking trip with our 3 children, aged 13,12 and 8. Really excellent day out! Our guide Fran was great. We did 3 other trips with Raftrek- cycling around Krka, kayaking on Zrmanji and rafting on the Cetina River - all excellent! A very professional, well organised company 😊
