  After years of talking myself out of learning how to scuba dive, I finally signed up for the open water course here and I’m SO glad I did. First, the eLearning was so convenient and extremely well structured. I did bits and pieces of the training for 2 weeks leading up to the dive. The course definitely made me feel more prepared. Next, as a solo diver, I ended up getting 1:1 training with William. While the groups can get to be 4 people, I saw mostly pairs and one group or 3. Because I was a little nervous 1:1 was incredible. It took me a while to get the hang of a couple of things and William was extremely patient and gave me pointers that were very helpful. When we began the ocean dives, I had some nerves since I hadn’t been PERFECT in the pool practice but I never felt unsafe. It was more “will I be good at this?” rather than “am I going to be okay?” Extremely quickly I caught on and improved my skills. William along with the other instructors onboard were SO kind and encouraging. The operations team even let me postpone my final dives so I could dive with better water visibility a couple days later. I am already planning on doing more diving with Asia Blue while in Koh Phangan. Useful tips: - Do the course! It genuinely made the rest of training so much easier - Eat/bring breakfast on dive days. They provide cereal/toast, but I wanted a little more sustente before diving. (Lunch is great, though!) - Bring a ton of sunscreen!

  My family and I are just back from an amazing trip to Sail Rock as newly qualified Open Water Divers! Our instructor, Jannes was amazing and made the open water course a wonderful experience for us all. We all came to the course with different levels of confidence but with Jannes, we felt really calm and looked after. He is clearly so passionate about what he does and took extra care in engaging with the kids so that they felt enthusiastic and confident about everything! The whole team and crew were great to be around on the boat and couldn’t have wished for a better experience. Bucket list ✅

  We had some incredible days with Yannes and the whole Asia Blue team. We did the open water course without any experience and felt that we were in very good hands. Yannes had a lot of patience, always reassuring and praising us. We felt really safe and welcome! We even ended up adding a fun dive on the fly and would probably do more if we had more time. We would definitely recommend this dive school and would love to dive with them again sometime! Also, Sail Rock is amazing. We saw a lot of underwater life 🐠🐟🐡

  There is nothing that was not on point. Best place with best prices in koh phangan. The staff is nice and friendly but also professional. The boat tour and food on the boat was very good. Everything on point.

  I did the Open Water Certification with Jannes from Asia Blue and was very satisfied about the guidance. Jannes was always very calm and easy to talk to. He took enough time to explain everything in detail. I always felt safe and well taught. I had a lot of fun at Sail Rock and enjoyed the deep water dives a lot. Would recommend it to every person.

  We’ve just passed our course, and we feel great. Most of the success is due to Chocko our coach, passionate, dedicated, patient, prepared over than an amazing person! Focused on big and small Details which can make the difference up and underwater mashed up with some tips and tricks Chocko’s style is unique, efficient and extremely helpful: you learn and you get dedicated since the beginning . Thanks to him and to whole the team that has been amazing, absolutely reliable and recommended.

  I did my open water diver course with Asia Blue and it was amazing! My instructor Choc was so good at explaining everything and made sure we all knew 100% what was going on, his English was also very good! I can’t recommend Asia Blue enough they did a great job, the diving was phenomenal and the lunch was delicious!

  I did my Open Water with Valerio last week end and it was amazing. My dives were full of fishes (in Sail Rock) and everyone at Asia Blue was kind and friendly. One of my best experience in Koh Phangan for the moment. Thank you so much Asia Blue

  My partner and I had a great time doing our open water certification and plan to continue diving with Asia Blue during our stay in Koh Phangan. After having a brief chat with Francois at the shop in Thong Sala, and also spotting his cool sea turtle tattoo, which caught my attention immediately, I decided he was going to teach us. Besides the tattoo he also has features that adds up to an amazing instructor; expertise and knowledge, tolerance and understanding, communicative with a smooth teaching and a great sense of humor! I felt very safe and had lots of fun during the whole training. Equipment and good dive sites such as Sail Rock and Ko Mah were included. If I ever decide to go for an advanced, I would want him to upskill me.

  After being scared of the sea for so many years I decided to overcome my fear by doing the paid open water diver course. I couldn’t have picked a better company to do it with. Francios is absolutely amazing! He knew I was scared and fearful etc so he really took his time with me, he made me feel completely comfortable and safe. I struggled with the pool training to begin with but Francios helped to make me feel calm and reassured me that we would come back for more training day after day until I felt completely comfortable. After two half days training in the pool I was ready to dive. We done the first 2 dives at the weekend and it was the most surreal experience of my life! I felt looked after from start to finish. Francios is very thorougher so no stone is left unturned which made me feel extra safe. I really enjoyed the dives and can’t wait to go on more! I went from someone who was completely terrified of being in/ under the sea to someone who feels confident and safe under the sea… in just a matter of days thanks to Asia Blue. Thanks again guys, you made this experience so enjoyable for me and I will be forever grateful ❤️ Highly highly recommend!
