3.00Positives The island was beautiful and the people of the island are warm and generous. It is a small community of 200. The boat ride out is an experience in a very small fibreglass boat that navigates is way in between the waves of the surf. Negatives Atmosphere the tour group never told us that the drive from port Villa was over 1 hour and then there is the boat ride. It is really too far for a shore excursion given the need to be back in pretty well before the gangway goes up. The island is in a very remote location. There is alot of traffic coming back which makes the drive back even longer-closer to 1.5 hours. The driver (Danny) arrived over an hour late which caused everyone a great deal of stress. We contacted the office of the tour company but they did not help at all other than telling us the driver was on his way and kept telling us it was matter of 10-20 minutes. Over an hour was the actual time! It felt as though they didn’t care.
