  We had a wonderful tour with Giulia! She was very knowledgeable about the site and also very funny. She kept us entertained the whole time and we learned a lot, too! For an extra €200 each way, they drove our group of five to and from Pompeii from the port in Sorrento. We appreciate that they were willing to wait for us and reschedule our tour when we were not able to get off the cruise ship on time.

  The meeting place is confusing. For us since it’s our first time to be in Pompeii, the instructions should have been clearer, that to go to the meeting place at the entrance, we still had to go uphill to the left from the drop off area. We waited for the tour guide at the drop off area where we thought the tour guide would be. No specific instructions that we still have to walk uphill on the left side of drop off area before you can see the meeting place at the entrance to the Ruins. Our tour guide was very good though. I’d give her a 6 out of 5. I just wish we had more time to spend with her. She shared a lot of information about the Ruins that we would have not known if we did the tour on our own.

  This experience was totally worth it. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept everyone engaged, including the kids. We were a group of 10. We learned a lot and the time spent at the site was perfect. Make sure you have a lot of water and bring hats as it was super hot.   We had a wonderful tour with Antoinetta. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging, making the experience both enjoyable and informative. Despite the intense heat, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Just be aware that there’s very little shade along the route, so it’s a good idea to bring plenty of water and a handheld fan if you have one. Highly recommended!

  It was great! Perfect amount of time to see the most interesting parts of Pompeii. Our tour guide was able to keep everyone engaged including the kids. We learned a lot. The group was about 10 people. The experience was totally worth it. If you are traveling in the summer, be ready for scorching sun and temperatures. Bring a hat and water. Also make sure you use the bathrooms before you enter Pompeii as we didn’t see any inside.
