5.00What a delightful experience! Our guide, Chris, was superb! He is a native of the Dales and actually grew up next door to the actual vet’s home in Thirsk. He knew Alf Wight (James Herriot) personally. We saw the beauty of the Dales, filming location for the “All Creatures…” series and got additional local history along the way. Chris was so patient with our questions and a font of local wisdom. We highly recommend it!👍
If you love James Harriott, you gotta go!

5.00Had a wonderful time even with the not so nice weather. We didn't do the movie set part as we were not interested in fiction - only the real Harriott history! What could have made it better? To meet his children - now adults, so we could tell them what their Dad did for us!

5.00We had an absolutely wonderful day! Chris was a charming, informative and gracious host. He paid attention to our interests and made this a very, very special day. Even if you’re not a fan of the show, the countryside was breathtaking. Cannot recommend this highly enough!
