  Our bear viewing day trip was a perfect experience. Our guide Matt was very informed, so helpful, and could answer any of our questions. The whole day was magical, and was a once-in--lifetime experience to view beqrs in the wild, living their normal life. Highly recommended! We were so lucky that our planned visit to Alaska coincided with the salmon spawning season, and enabled this wonderful opportunity.

  Although we did not see bear, about a week early I’d guess this year. July 20th, 2025, the salmon were starting their run. The flight, the pilot, the guides and the scenery was amazing! We’d certainly do it again and would recommend the Waterfall Creek Bear Viewing excursion.

  Our float plane trip to waterfall creek was so much fun and while our bears chose to show up late the time we spent with them was our favorite thing we did in Alaska ! Highly recommend Wildcoast Alaska

  This is an absolutely unforgettable and amazing experience with Wild Coast Excursions. From start to finish it was a well organized trip. Our guide was approachable and informative and made the experience that much more enjoyable. His knowledge of the bears and the region was the perfect companion to watching the magnificent bears. The fact that you start and end with a float plane adventure adds to the overall fun. I strongly recommended this trip, you will not regret it.

  The trip with Peter Nave was excellent. He was friendlyt knowledgeable and we got to see all kinds of Brown Bears. The lunch provided was delicious and the float plane trips were smooth and enjoyable. Would love to do that excursion everyday and never get tired of it. I would highly recommend it to anyone in Juneau.

  Unforgettable bear-viewing experience at Waterfall Creek on Chichagof Island in July with Wild Coast Excursions. The day trip was very well-organized from start to finish, with a float-plane ride from Juneau to the island, a short hike to the creek-side bear viewing area, several hours watching bears, a nice boxed lunch and a return plane trip back to Juneau. Having grown up in Juneau, our guide, Peter, is very wilderness-savvy and adept at sharing his knowledge with his clients. He kept our group well-informed and about bear behavior and let us know what to expect from the experience while we were out there and afterwards shared photos and videos of our adventure. Spectacular scenery from the air and on the ground and a fabulous learning opportunity. I highly recommend Wild Coast Excursions!

  Wonderful trip! Peter was very communicative throughout the planning. Mattheus was our guide for the trip and he was awesome! He was very knowledgeable about the area and bear viewing. Great experience without the crowds! Highly recommend!

  Highly recommend!!! Our day out to Pack Creek was such an awesome experience, Expert local guide Peter had all the knowledge and really made our trip. Was very cool to see the Bears roam around and in their habitat.
