I highly recommend it to anyone interested in birding and/or photography, regardless of their experience or knowledge level. Not only will Bas help you find the birds you're hoping to see, but he'll also position you for outstanding photographic opportunities. I'm convinced he knows every inch of the island, every plant that attracts birds, and exactly how to anticipate their movements and behaviors. What makes the experience even more special is Bas's ability to weave education into natural conversation. It's only in the days afterward that you realize how much you've learned about the island's history, geography, ecology, and birdlife. 5.00On May 23, 2026 we made a tour on Bonaire (the pearls of the east). Come to the island for over 20 years, but were surprised with unknown “treasures”. It was a special, unforgettable tour, with good explanations on the way about the origin of landscapes etc. and a delicious lunch at a very special location. Highly recommended for those who want to know more about the origins of the special island Bonaire.

5.00Such an incredible experience! So grateful to Bas who was able to customize the tour based on my limited time frame and gave such a thorough guide capturing so many highlights along the way! The park is full of so many hidden treasures and he made sure I saw them while keeping me on schedule. The tour was also filled with snacks and stops, including delicious apple muffins. Highly recommend and cannot wait to go on another tour next time I visit

In doing so, He also beautiful pictures that he sends back. An unforgettable trip, which you could never have made yourself. Recommended!!!!

5.00My family of 7 spent the day with HopiBonaire during our cruise port and it was the best decision we could have made! Since their tours are private you will have complete control over your itinerary including what parts of the island you want to see and how often you want to stop. We had three little kids with us and Sebastian and Jessica were so accommodating every step of the way whether it was helping the kids along short hikes, making too many bathroom pit stops or pulling out snacks when they were getting antsy. We did the half day tour and we were able to see so much of the island without it feeling rushed or chaotic. We enjoyed the most amazing afternoon lunch by the water with homemade food and drinks - no detail went unnoticed. We could not have enjoyed a better day than we did with HopiBonaire! We hope to return someday and will absolutely book another tour with Sebastian and Jessica. Highly recommend!!

5.00We really enjoyed our tour! You will pass all the highlights, but also places where you would not otherwise go so quickly. He knows a lot about the island, nature, animals and history. It is very well taken care of, with drinks, snacks etc. and you get super nice pictures!! Would definitely recommend it!
