  It was a very spontaneous and unplanned visit to Chengdu, and thanks to Ji, we had a fantastic day exploring all the highlights of the city. We highly recommend him as a guide. The little souvenirs from him were a lovely gesture. We will definitely come back here.

  From the first interaction with Ji, this was easily the best investment I made during my trip to Chengdu! Wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend Ji to anyone seeking an informative, professional, reliable guide with excellent English proficiency. We went early to beat the crowds, meaning the time spent at the Panda Research Base was all quality.   I had an amazing experience with my guide, Liu Ji! He accompanied me to the Panda Park and made the entire visit absolutely perfect. He was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive throughout the whole visit. His English is excellent, which made communication very easy and enjoyable, and he explained everything clearly with great enthusiasm. Thanks to him, the experience was smooth, interesting, and stress-free. Liu Ji went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. I highly recommend him to anyone visiting Chengdu or planning a trip to the Panda Park. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience!

  Ji confirmed the session within minutes even though it was past 8pm on the day prior to the booking. On the day, William picked me up on time and was very nice throughout. He was very knowledgeable and patient and passionate about the Pandas, also gave me recommendations where to go & eat in Chengdu. Also knew how to circumvent the congestion so for the longer part of the experience there were not a lot of people. The driver was also very kind. Can truly recommend this service.   Everything with this tour went according to plan, we were collected on time, our guide Sheen was very friendly and knowledgable. Seeing the pandas was a lifelong dream and I now have a cute fascination with red pandas too. Yes we probably could have done the trip ourselves by taxi or bus and hired a guide at the base but this tour saved us a lot of time and effort and for that it is worth the money. My only suggestion for improvements could be that you could provide more information on the conservation efforts for pandas. E.g. what is being done to protect them/release them but that’s just a personal preference. The other option could be to make it longer and visit another sanctuary if there is something different that they offer too.

  Liuji organised for a colleague, Silvia and a driver to take us on this tour which was extended to include a visit to the Irrigation scheme. Silvia is an outstanding guide who is very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. We had a most relaxed, enjoyable day including an excellent lunch in a local restaurant. Both places are very well worth a visit. The Panda base is fun and the Irrigation scheme most interesting. The walk through the Bonzi garden should not be missed. I would highly recommend Silvia and the tour. Thank you to Liuji for organising this for us.

  Liuji was great guide!! He knew were to find the Pandas. He picked us up in a new, clean car, on time, even brought us some panda merch! Highly recommend. We went on afternoon trip and still saw a lot of Pandas:)

  

  

• Amazing Panda Tour with Amazing Guide

  Firstly, I must recognize Ji, our guide, he was amazing and made the difference. I would expect most tours the Panda Base to be similar in what you do and see, but Ji made it very easy for us. We happened to go on a holiday, so the park was extremely crowded. We were able to see everything we wanted to see, go at a pace that worked for us as a family, get tons of great pictures. It is worth going into a bit of the overall experience with Ji. He first sent us a communication text after booking to give us an overview, gave us all the information we needed to prepare for the tour and be ready the morning of the tour, and promptly picked us up at our hotel at the indicated time. He had a comfortable/modern vehicle that comfortably fitted the four of us. As he visits the park numerous times each week, sometimes twice a day, he is familiar with the best paths and recommendations even on days it is very crowded. While I wish we visited on a less crowded day - because who wouldn't - the experience was so much fun to see and do that you weren't really bothered if you happen to go on a crowded day. The tickets were integrated with our passport, so we just had to scan our passports on entry for admittance to the park. Again Ji took care of everything. Highly recommend this tour.
