  Wissal was a wonderful host and teacher. She explained very clearly all the steps, how we had to do things and the tips to make the most amazing couscous. Her mum was also incredibly helpful, making sure that our couscous was a success. We had a lovely time, learned more about Moroccan culture and were lucky to had a delicious meal and interesting conversation. We will definitely book another cookery lesson with Wissal for our next trip to Casablanca.

  Amazing experience getting to know a little about Moroccan culture while learning to cook traditional dishes such as couscous and tagine. Wissal was a very knowledgeable teacher, letting us savour the smells of freshly ground spices while chopping vegetables. Her outgoing, friendly personality made it feel like you were cooking with a longtime friend. The evening started with the most delicious spiced coffee that your tastebuds will thank you for while learning a little bit about each other. This was followed by preparing everything that needed to cook, then a break with mint tea and the most delicious baking made by Wissal’s mom. Next preparing salads. Followed by trying on beautiful Moroccan clothes. Finishing with an absolute superb meal with unforgettable company. This is a must experience for those wishing to experience true Moroccan culture.

  A culinary and social experience 100% authentic. When we travel we like to discover the culture of the country through its cuisine. With my teenager, we participated in a cooking workshop at Wissal. Welcoming as at home, warm and very friendly. We learned to cook Moroccan specialties: a pure delight!!! Now I know how to make msemen, gazelle horns and also Baghirs ❤️❤️❤️❤️ We learned a lot of things, the little tips, the good deals for our greedy purchases to slip in our suitcases 🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇲🇦 My teenager had a lot of fun cooking with Wissal, we will come back to Casablanca with pleasure, just to taste one of your couscous! • Peak into the daily life of Moroccans

  I had an extra day in Morocco after my tour ended and wanted something different to do. I could have gone on another day trip, but I opted for a quiet afternoon cooking with a Moroccan family and it was an experience I will always cherish. Wissal and her family were so kind and welcoming to me. I left with great memories and a full stomach! Highly recommend!

  We had a fabulous time with Wissal and her family, making not only couscous but chicken tagine and other dishes! We were graciously welcomed into Wissal’s home and got to chitchat over coffee before beginning the class. It was a step-by-step process, and Wissal made sure to include everyone so that we all had a chance to chop veggies, mix the couscous, etc. We took a quick Moroccan tea break in the middle of cooking and had the best msamen ever (along with a variety of other sweets). I really appreciate the advice we got about shopping in Morocco and how to make the most of our trip. Before we knew it everything was ready! I believe it was around 2.5 hrs of actual cooking. We got to take a look at Moroccan traditional clothing before sitting down to eat and had the option of trying them on. The plating of everything was gorgeous and we had an amazing meal with Wissal and another couple. We were even sent home with a gift! The class was absolutely the highlight of Casablanca for us. P.S. I highly recommend taking the taxi ride that Wissal will offer to arrange. We had some bad experiences with taxi drivers scamming us in Morocco but the taxi driver that took us to the class was wonderful and had a great rate.

  Wissal accommodated our request on very short notice. Wissal and her mother provided an excellent experience in guided preparation of several traditional Moroccan dishes. I highly recommend this cooking experience in Casablanca. We made a hot and cold salad, tagine, and an elaborate couscous. We also experienced how to make and serve the best mint tea and Moroccan mojito. We also sampled the breads typically served at breakfast. While the dishes were cooking we had an opportunity to try on traditional Moroccan clothes. The food was all delicious and so much to eat and try. All of this occurred in their private home. Wissal also arranged for taxi pick up and drop off at our hotel which was a great idea. This is a must try experience in Casablanca.

  Wissal is a great host and speaks both French and English on top of Arabic. She was so friendly and outgoing. Her mom is a wonderful cook and she taught me how to make couscous, some salads and moroccan tea. The best was the mutual curiosity to get to know each other s culture and sharing experiences. No fuss, family cooking in their home. I loved it ! Also ask about her firend Khadija who makes the best pastries !!
