  Our guide gave us the perfect Alpine hike. Awesome views the entire way. Its a good hike and workout. Not overly rigorous. And coaxing the cows off part of part of the path or just enjoying their ringing presence was special. Relax at the top, have a snack and feel alive.

  This really was a day to remember. I’d visited Lucerne previously, but when I came across VP Excursions I was so impressed with how it offered something really different, tailored and fun. Robbe is equal parts experienced hiker, trip planner, driver and your best mate taking you on a road trip. I could not recommend a tour with Robbe highly enough - he is absolutely professional, funny, knowledgeable and extremely passionate about what he does. Aside from the hike, we took a boat ride and had lunch lakeside, dropped by a lovely quite swimming spot and stopped for some great coffees along the way. The region is absolutely stunning, and combined with Robbe’s expertise and fantastic company, it is the best way I can think of to travel. Robbe you are an absolute legend and I loved every part of this day. I already plan to be back for another tour! Thanks for everything and see you again soon.

  THANKS to Robbe for this incredibly beautiful day! At first we were unsure if a guided hike was for us, but Robbe responded to all our wishes and adapted the hike perfectly to our needs. It felt like we've known each other forever, like a good friend who is joking and yet can shine with a huge amount of expertise about Switzerland. We particularly liked the fact that we were now allowed to get to know some hidden and rather unknown places that we would never have come to without the tour. We are really huge fans of Switzerland now and are already looking forward to next time.😊☀️

  Our private full-day hike with Robbie was truly unforgettable from start to finish. Leading up to the day, the weather was a bit uncertain, but Robbie kept communication open and seamless through WhatsApp. Every detail was handled professionally and promptly, which immediately put us at ease. On the morning of the hike, my wife and I were picked up in Zurich, and from that moment the experience exceeded every expectation. Robbie guided us through an incredible route with breathtaking views, and along the way surprised us with delicious sandwiches and breakfast snacks — such a thoughtful touch that made the day even more special. One thing we appreciated so much was having Robbie there to take photos whenever we asked. But what absolutely blew us away were the candid pictures he sent us afterward. They were stunning — natural, beautifully framed, and captured moments of my wife and me that felt genuine and irreplaceable. It was like getting two tours in one: an amazing hike and a professional-style photo session at the same time. We’re already looking forward to our next adventure with Robbie and will be recommending him to absolutely everyone we know.   Robbe was the BEST tour guide ever! He picks you up right from your hotel and makes sure your day is full of what YOU want down to the great playlists. We went on the hike of a lifetime and he was so knowledgeable on the area and made us feel so at home and immersed in Switzerland. He brought the best sandwich’s we’ve ever had, was a great photographer, and jumping in the lake after a hike on a hot day was immaculate! I can’t imagine our trip to Switzerland without him and we’re so grateful we met him early in our trip to feel comfortable and like we had a friend. 10/10 experience, would recommend to anyone of all ages, skill set, ect.

  We really appreciated having a customizable hike. Robbe is very intuitive about anticipating the type of hike that is doable, yet offers options. He is very knowledgeable of the area and keeps on top of weather conditions if needed. The day of our hike had possible rain in the forecast and he suggested which areas would work best. Though rain in mountainous areas is sometimes hard to predict, he estimated it would be raining by 3 pm. At 2:57 pm it began raining on our way back. We would highly recommend a tour with Robbe!
