5.00The Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba is a place that everyone should experience when visiting Andalusia and when you do I would highly recommend booking your visit with Amedina Cordoba! I discovered Amedina Cordoba through TripAdvisor. After booking our date and time I reached out to Nacho at Amedina to ask if it would also be possible to see some of the Jewish Quarter after visiting the Mosque-Cathedral. With a very reasonable adjustment to the tour price, Nacho made the arrangements with no issues at all. Our guide was Ana and she was so delightful. Her knowledge of the Mosque-Cathedral was so in-depth it was almost overwhelming (but in such a good way)! She was also kind and patient as my husband and I were with our mothers who are young at heart but also being slowed down by ageing and lessened mobility. The Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba is truly a monument that should not be missed. It is a contradiction in terms and religion, but it is also an example of how tolerance of two religions (based on ideals and beliefs) can co-exist and turn into acceptance. Even if that acceptance was short lived, it is still worthwhile to witness as it provides a much needed reminder that there is hope for all religions and ethnicities to co-exist peacefully, especially in today’s world.

5.00We visited with Elena. The visit was wonderful, lasted more than two hours and seemed 15 minutes. The historical context and the way you tell it makes the incredible monument take on an unknown dimension. Congratulations on how much fun you have had and all we have learned with you!!!

5.00Working with Amedina Cordoba to arrange our visit was a great experience from start to finish. We worked with Nacho to set everything up by email and he advised us that Ricardo would be our guide. On the day of the tour, just as we were meeting with Ricardo, Nacho joined us for a few minutes to introduce himself! We arranged a three hour private guided tour and it was one of the best experiences we have had. Ricardo was outstanding! His knowledge and enthusiasm brought the centuries old Cordoba to life for us. Outside of the Mosque-Cathedral, we also visited the old Jewish quarter as well as a few of the amazing patios. Ricardo had a story to tell us at each location, whether it was historical or about contemporary life in Cordoba. He was personable, enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable. The customer service we experienced from Amedina Cordoba was excellent.
