Okomfo Anokye Sword Site

5.00First trip to Kumasi but won’t be my last. Daniel was a pleasure to be with and was very knowledgeable about Asante history. We had a few stops to see historical sites and a local meal. My safety and interests were kept top of mind. I’ll definitely book with this company again.

5.00We arranged a sightseeing tour with Black City Tours during our time in Kumasi, Ghana, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The team was professional, responsive, and genuinely friendly, making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. We were picked up and dropped off at our requested location, which made things very convenient. Our driver was safe and reliable, and our guide Daniel was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing interesting insights throughout the day. The tour itself was a fantastic mix of cultural and local experiences. We visited a cocoa farm where we learnt about the production process as well as sampling a few Cocoa based products. We also learnt about the history of the Kente cloth during a visit to a weaving centre and watched the experienced weavers at work! We visited the Kumasi Centre for National Culture and took in the vibrant atmosphere of Kejetia Market. Overall, it was a great tour, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Black City Tours in the future. Thank you Daniel, it was a pleasure to meet you.
